Stopped in for a quick lunch here, it was 500 yards from my boyfriend’s job and I wanted to make sure he could enjoy his food and not rush. I didn’t realize it was a pub. For a quick lunch spot it still didn’t disappoint too much.. there weren’t many food options so I just chose the Reuben and soup of the day lunch special (creamy chicken and mushroom). I don’t ever order Reuben’s but wanted beef.. it was good for a Reuben I guess. Beer options were fantastic so for a pub spot this would be a really nice place to have a few beers and enjoy the atmosphere. For an appetizer we got the artichoke dip with pita. It was GREAT. The pitas melted in your mouth but it was a little too salty, so good in moderation. My boyfriend got the burger and it was underdone (asked for well done and it was red- juicing red out the sides before a bite was even taken). He asked for it to be cooked a bit longer and we shared my food which filled us up and got the burger to go since we were running out of time. We were quick to order, quick to eat, and quick to leave. All in all we were there about 30 min. Our food came out incredibly fast and every single person who interacted with us had great service. Then surprise, surprise, our check came and they took it upon themselves to deduct 7.50$ labeled “make it right”. 5 stars for me AS A PUB. I don’t know if I’d ever stop in for lunch again with such limited options but I will definitely be back to try a few beers in the future!

I was hosting a business lunch for myself and two others. The waitress sat the family behind us first like we weren’t even there.
When we were seated we were told someone would be with us shortly. When another waitress showed up she asked us “What are you drinking?”. Someone needs to be trained to read the table. We were clearly there for a business lunch. The appetizer we ordered was cold. Our meals were “meh”. She did refill our drinks and offered cardy out drinks. No straws.
Honestly, it was embarrassing for me to have brought guests to this place.

The food can be very good for a Pub, but it’s not great.
The service can vary, depending on who waits on you when sitting at a table or if sitting at the bar. I prefer to sit at the bar, because the service is consistently good and the bartenders are nice, engaging and will have a conversation with you.
The atmosphere, for a Pub on the Southside compared to downtown, is generally subdued. Wish the TVs were larger for sports but they are adequate if sitting around the bar.

Service was excellent, our server was Nick K. That is all I was say about the best part of this restaurant. We are from out of state. My husband wanted a burger. Why is it ok to have pre-packaged hamburger patty and fries? I had the prime dip. It lacked flavor. Please look into modifying current food choices to get this place to stand out

Came here because it’s open late & was greatly surprised. They have a GIGANTIC beer menu & a big cider menu which is a rare sight. We started off with the artichoke dip and pita 10/10. I had the chicken tinders that came with the good breading 10/10. My boyfriend got the chips and fish which the waiter recommended it was great with the tartar sauce 10/10. We aren’t beer drinkers and we’re delighted to have a large selection of ciders! I will be returning soon!

They changed the menu and got rid of my favorite option, the French Dip. I got the Patty Melt instead and it was made with American cheese not Swiss. I wasn’t very impressed. The server was nice and helpful. It was an ok experience but probably won’t be going back.

Ordered their steakhouse burger that comes with 1/2 lb patty with onion ring, hp mayo, smoked gouda with lettuce and tomato on a brioche bun. The side item I ordered was sweet potato fries. Didnt have to wait much. I asked for my patty to be medium. Loved the flavor of the burger. The price is on the high range but thats expected from a pub house.

The place is almost always pretty busy, and can sometimes be PACKED! The atmosphere is fun, active and LOUD so quiet dining is not a phrase I would use to describe the atmosphere.
The outside patio area is primarily long wooden tables which easily accommodates large groups. Inside it is more cramped and tighter seating.
The food and service is very good and Wednesday is $5 Burger Night (great price)! Their beer and wine list is impressive and rotates to include local breweries.
Over all great place as long as you aren’t looking for a quiet romantic setting.

Came here today because this is where I used to come to back in the day during my college years. This place definitely brought back memories. The food was still great, can’t say the drinks have changed since I was with family this time around but the service and the vibe were great! Definitely recommend this place!
