When you go out of your way to create the world’s tastiest sandwiches, people tend to go out of their way to get their hands on them. And it’s been like this since we opened the doors of the first TOGO’S in San Jose, California back in 1971. We made the meatiest, most delectable sandwiches around. And people formed lines out the door, anxiously awaiting their turn for taste bud nirvana. Today, people still go above and beyond to get our sandwiches. Because for many, you can never go too far for a TOGO.

TOUCHING TRASH THEN FOOD! I walked into this togos to see an employee stuffing trash down into a trash can with his bare hands and then walk behind the counter and grab some gloves without washing his hands asking me what can he make for us. I immediately pointed out that he just had his hands down in a trash can and was touching the gloves he was going to put on to prepare our food. I left. He was a BIG white dude. I will never be back here.

Ordered a ceaser salad and sandwich off of Ubereats, the salad came with moldy Parmesan cheese and the sandwich had a hair in it. I understand hair in food happens so I’m not as upset about that but the moldy salad was too much.

I used to work at Togo’s in Fountain Valley back in 2010 or so in high school, so my expectations are based on being a former employee.
The portions and quality of ingredients here are always so good. I haven’t had a time where I didn’t enjoy the sandwich – I usually get a hot roast beef and add cheese. I definitely will be back!

TLDR: the owner didn’t honor a coupon that was clearly valid.
I came in with a free sandwich coupon that was admittedly a few years old (it floated around the bottom of the “random drawer”). This location was listed and there was no expiration date or any other limitations. I ordered my sandwich and presented the coupon, to which the employee said he needed to call the owner to see if they’d accept it. This led to a 10 minute delay where the employee then asked for a photo of the coupon to send to the owner. The end result was the owner denying the coupon because it was “too old”. I understand it may have been old, but ultimately the best business practice would to be honor it and earn a return customer. I love Togo’s food, but the owner of this location is not looking for return business. Disappointing.

Ordered the Italian sub…very disappointing. There was barely any meat on it when it’s supposed to contain 4 different meats so you would think it would be mostly meat! No. It was mostly lettuce and bread. I couldn’t even eat it all. And their white bread is not good. It’s soft like sandwich bread not firm like sub rolls. Also this place is so overpriced, really wish I could get a refund. Sad because I was SO excited to try this place but I definitely will not be back.

There’s a pretty long line here every weekday at lunch time, but it always moves fast. Employees are friendly and as many times as my co-workers and I order from here, a mistake has never been made on any of our orders. Sandwiches are far preferable to Subways or other sandwich chains.
