This was our 2nd or 3rd time coming here. We made a reservation (it’s always quite busy) and got seated right when we arrived. Kevin was our bartender and he’s very friendly. We enjoyed a tasty cheese board and a couple of cocktails. My husband’s House Manhattan was fantastic and my Coco Bay was delicious. I wish their bar chairs were a bit more comfortable. Otherwise we really enjoyed our visit.

This warmly dim and comfy cocktail lounge is a hidden gem on the edge of downtown that enjoys it’s speakeasy camouflage from an unattached Nightclub around the corner. Their kitchen is open late and they have the best rotating charcuterie board in town to go with their top notch cocktails. Outstanding date spot.

Fantastic appetizers and drinks but that’s all we’d go back for. Atmosphere was cool but not amazing. Our dinners were odd – they were either spicy hot (but lacking great flavor) or so bland those people added some sauces from our spicy dishes to improve their bland dishes. And the service was interesting – we’re not sure if it was just our server or if this is the business model but to place our drink order, appetizer order and dinner orders as well as to get the bill, we had to flag our server down. It was odd but maybe that’s how it’s supposed to go here. Our server never stopped over for anything – completely a flag-down experience.

Very cool “speakeasy” vibe, with fun and enjoyable cocktail options. Unfortunately, even with a limited food menu to start with, they were out of the first 3 items we tried to order! Might be better if they just post a few available featured food items each night on the board and not bother with a menu at all.

Darkly lite basement speak easy. Small entree menu. Lot’s of cocktails. We didn’t enjoy the seating we were stuck into a small table and just didn’t enjoy the atmosphere. No signage out front just open the random door and your in…. Ids checked at the door

The last word has been one of our favorite locations in Ann Arbor for a few years now. Cocktails are always wonderful and the food is underrated here.

came here for a birthday reservation… it’s a shame the service has become so terrible. host mockingly asked if it was my birthday.. after it was already mentioned and she viewed my ID. okay. i’ll let it go. then, the waitress takes our order around the table and proceeds to skip over me, despite my friend not even being ready to order. i’m a black woman so i tend to just assume these things are micro aggressions. kitchen couldn’t get the tables correct and brought us a dish we didn’t order. and finally, the icing on the cake when our server brought us a mobile payment tablet instead of the regular checkbooks being brought to every other table right in front of us. the experience has seriously gone downhill here and i’ve been a patron for months. i always feel like i’m treated poorly here. for an upscale bar charging nearly $20 a drink, this is unacceptable to me and i won’t be back. take your business to nightcap instead.. they’ll take care of you.

Great craft cocktails served in a speakeasy atmosphere. Everything is fresh and tasty. I love the special events here – today a dessert pop up with cocktail pairings, everything Summer ingredients. The food menu is on the lighter side, but naturally that’s expected, since the focus is on craft cocktails in a cozy, lovely, dimly-lit atmo.
