We stumbled up this place by accident. We were waiting for our room to be ready and Boston’s Fish House was nearby. Walking in I was taken back to Rhode Island my home state. The smell and look was so New England. We’ve been in Florida for years now and haven’t been able to find a real New England type restaurant. Well that search ended after finding this spot! What an absolute treat. My husband saw Steamers on the menu and just about screamed! They are a favorite of his and you just can’t find them much in Florida. So we ordered Steamers, Calamari (straight from Point Judith!), and some NE Clam Chowder to start. The steamers were fresh and delicious. The calamari was top notch and the clam chowder was some of the best clam chowder I have ever had! And I lived in New England for 40 years so I know good Chowdah! For my husband’s meal he got a Maine Lobster Roll and said it was tender and perfect. I got blackened haddock with a ritz topping and Boston Baked Beans as a side. I almost cleaned my plate it was so good! We also each had a classic Cape Codder for a drink. They were refreshing. We decided to grab a slice of Boston Cream Pie to go because it looked so good, but clearly we stuffed our bellies. We had it later that night and it was so darn good! Service was great. Our waitress was a sweetheart. So if you are in the area I highly recommend stopping in.

Boston Fish House is now one of my top 3 restaurants in New Smyrna!
I had the Scottish Salmon with Asparagus, Rice and Mushrooms EVERYTHING was excellent. No oversalting for lack of flavor here. Everything was seasoned to perfection and very high quality ingredients. I make my own Scottish Salmon so I was afraid it wouldn’t be up to my standard, but these folks know how to do it right!
I also ordered some of their Tomato Saffron Crème Sauce to pair with my salmon and it was amazing. I love tomato crème sauce and it’s hard to find a good one. Theirs has bits of lobster in it and was next level delicious. I can’t say enough about the rice, and I’m not a big fan of rice, but their rice and mushrooms were Amazing. They have an excellent attention to detail in the seasoning and a special way with mushrooms.
Will definitely be dining here regularly. ♥️

In town from Texas for a training so we rented a car and drive into town from Orlando just for the day. A local recommended this place for lunch and OH MY GOODNESS!!! The best fish /chips, popcorn shrimp and key lime pie I’ve EVER had. The waitress Shannon T was delightful and very attentive.

Quite literally the best experience I’ve had eating out for quite some time! We loved the fish and chips that were served with some of the best onion rings and ranch dressing I’ve ever had. The lobster bisque was absolutely perfect and the salad with cranberries, apples, walnuts, tomatoes, and lime vinaigrette practically had me licking my plate. We’ll definitely be returning with friends and family.

Our first meal after arriving in town for a long weekend get-a-way, and the comfort food satisfied our cravings. We stepped in at 1:00 and were seating immediately. We ordered and devoured the lunch fish and chips with onion rings and the mahi mahi sandwich with broccoli salad. The deep fried items were crispy but not heavy.

Boston’s Fish House is a good place to visit if you’re craving fresh, flavorful seafood done right. I ordered the crab cakes, crab legs, and onion rings and it was good. The crab cakes were packed with meat and perfectly seasoned; the crab legs were juicy, tender, and easy to crack; and the onion rings were crispy, golden, and full of flavor.
The service was just as impressive as the food; our server was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. You can tell the staff really cares about providing great hospitality.
If you’re looking for a place with top-notch seafood and great vibes, Boston’s Fish House does not disappoint.

The service was awesome!!! The servers were busy and smiling the entire time we were there. We were told the wait would be 10 -20 minutes, and we got in in 5 minutes. We ordered the combination platter, and we were not disappointed. We highly recommend that if you’re in the area to check this place out.

Been coming here for over 20 years. Management has changed multiple times, but food was magnificent as always. Megan was our server. She was probably the friendliest server we have had in years. Prices are steep but worth every bite. Wish they would put standard prices on menu. The “market prices” on the menu force us to order less food. For example I ordered scallops. They ended up being $29. For $2 more I could have ordered the full dinner. Regardless, this is by far one of my all time favorites places to eat.

Everything about this place reminds one of being in Boston. The food is absolutely fantastic, from the balsamic scallops, to the steamers, to the chowder and lobster bisque (my absolute favorite). I wish I lived closer as I’d definitely eat here weekly. Staff are very attentive and friendly.
