An atmospheric café that feels more like a roadside attraction. Very unusual décor.
There was an unpleasant musty smell inside, and the restroom could definitely use improvement, although there was hot water.
The prices are reasonable, but the clam chowder was the worst I’ve ever tried. My husband liked his burger.

The food was delicious and incredibly flavorful. The Fat Smitty Bacon Burger and Chicken Burger (both with fries) were superb. Don’t skip the milkshakes—the Chocolate and Strawberry ones were creamy perfection!

1. The Food Was A Miracle. I was looking for a great burger. And, I was looking for a Good French Fry. But, I thought it was going to be another burger place. But, I was wrong. The Food Is Amazing. It had my heart melting.
2. Customer Service was amazing. So Sweet, Kind, Wonderful and Amazing.
3. The Atmosphere is so amazing. They have a lot of money on the wall. And, you can add $1 up to $100 on the wall. And, it gets donated to charity.
I would recommend this place if you are heading up to Forks. And, if you are in the Port Townsend Area.

Stopped here on our drive back to the city. The burger really hit the spot after a long weekend of camping and hiking! Be warned the fat smitty burger is 2 1/3 pound patties so it’s a bit of a beast to eat, but it was delicious and they have to go boxes!

Fat Smitty’s is an absolute gem! Our family loves this place—it’s become a must-stop tradition every time we head to the cabin. The burgers are massive, the vibes are authentic, and the whole experience just feels like classic Americana in the best way possible. You can tell it’s made with heart. Great food, friendly people, and unforgettable atmosphere. Don’t pass it up!

Don’t walk in here expecting good service if you’re a person of color as all the other reviews have mentioned lol. Saw the owner mouth “Oh God!” as I walked in lol. Ironic since Christianity extols tolerance.
Smitty’s burger was definitely big but pretty bland. Not sure what all the hype is about for probably the worst burger I’ve ever had at this price point.
I’m from the South though, so standards are definitely higher there for grill food compared to the backwater this restaurant is in. Needed some more cheese or just flavor in the patty itself. Fries were good.

First time I’ve been in this place since 1991, very friendly staff, and a delicious burger. In fact it was probably the biggest double cheeseburger I’ve ever been handed in any restaurant setting. I’m a big guy and I couldn’t even finish it. Definitely hey go to burger place when I’m passing through!

Food here was delicious – excellent Fat Smitty burger, and it is massive! The BBQ pork sandwich was also very good. The milkshake and hot chocolate was fine.
Vibes are fun inside. Dollars are hanging on the walls and you can add your own if you want. There was a lot of Halloween decor up since we went in October. Very festive!
Service was fine. The waitress was not super friendly.
Lots of political signs on the outside of the restaurant, which feels unnecessary and tacky.
Cash only with ATM inside. Prices are with tax so the bill was a whole number.
Overall, really good food and a unique roadside stop!

Fantastic had a Smitty burger and fries with a blue raspberry red bull spritzer..the burger was amazing juicy and messy as can be. The server was very kind and on point. This place is really cool..it’s got a very fun vibe to it .if you are passing through disco bay you owe it to yourself to stop in here. My friend had a blt which she absolutely loved. . crisp delicious bacon fresh tomatoes and lettuce. This place is worth the trip and the money by far. Its cash only. They do have an atm
