I ordered takeout 2 days ago through online ordering. Estimated pickup 20 min. Walked in, greeted politely, waitress checked on my order and said another woman was finishing up putting together my order and asked if there was anything else she could provide. Not even 1 min later my order was ready. Had the country fried steak plate. Though the outside of the building is outdated, the inside is pleasant and clean. Great service, great value. Will order again! Also loved the crust and didn’t have to add salt or anything to the gravy. Thanks!

This is a great place to grab some breakfast. The manager is top notch and the wait staff is very friendly. The food is good! I had the country fried steak breakfast with eggs and potatoes. The country fried steak was crispy on the outside and tender in the middle. So tender that you can cut with a fork even though they bring you a steak knife. I also had the biscuit that came with the meal topped with sausage gravy and it was a great biscuit and gravy. It was a little pricey for breakfast but the staff made it worth it thats for sure. If you are new to the area or just traveling through and want a good breakfast stop in and see for yourself!

We were greeted by a energetic hostess, who honestly, works as if she owns the place!

Server was polite. Order was spot on. Food tasted great. Excellent coffee.

Restaurant is clean.

It’s pricey, but that’s vacation

This is one of those old-school family style restaurants that just kills it. I came here for the first time and had a truly great experience. Our server was so great and really on it with making sure that all of our drinks were filled, questions answered, and food served, hot and ready. Everything was delicious and I think it was a fair value for the price. I’ll be coming back here if I’m in the area.

My wife and I had a wonderful brunch experience here. We need a place like this back home in San Antonio Texas. Our waitress Latoya J was so professional, kind and my water cup never ran dry a plus in my book. The smooth jazz music in the background makes this spot a very comfortable Old School feel. But the food was delicious and the chef was legit.

We walked in and got seated but it took 15 mins and we still haven’t been waited on but 3 other groups that came after us got waited on. So I requested that we move seats and as soon as I moved another group go seated in our spot and the waiter went to them immediately….what a shame, btw they weren’t busy haha we didn’t even get our drinks yet. As soon as we got to our seats we got waited on thanks to the waiter (Alex). On to the food The Irish Benedict, I loved the corned beef, it reminded me of the corned beef back home. The rest is okay. Next I had the Big Pancakes, I would say the pancakes were a bit too raw and the biscuit as well. The eggs were pretty good I liked the way it was around 3/4 cook it gave a good texture to even the pancakes out. The homemade fries aka square potato’s were okay as well i couldn’t taste the onion sauté on them. Over all it was a okay spot for a Breakfast.

Absolutely love this restaurant! My family and I drove down to Myrtle Beach for vacation from Michigan, and came across this restaurant because it was affordable. We stopped here 2 days in a row for breakfast because the food and service was amazing! Our second morning stopping in for breakfast, my pancakes , which I ordered the morning before were slightly undercooked. My waitress took my plate back to the kitchen and had it remade with no problem at all!! To make the service even better, the man who was at the front desk for payment took the pancakes off my bill completely! They explained that the pancakes being undercooked is very rare and I believe them. It was 4th of July morning and they were very busy. I highly recommend stopping in for breakfast if you’re in the area, all employees are great❤️

If you are anywhere near Myrtle Beach, this place is worth the drive! We ate there twice during this vacation and both times our meals were excellent and the service was beyond our expectations. We had Benedicts and omelets, and their biscuits are delicious. The staff care and were especially friendly. Don’t miss this great spot for great food!

Been going to Myrtle Beach for years! Woodhaven is great and has now bumped our old favorite Pancake place out of the #1 spot. It might seem like a simple breakfast joint, but they nail the basics. They know how to scramble an egg just right without overcooking it, which is surprisingly rare.

They’ve also got a great new special! The cinnamon pancakes!

Nice cup of coffee, some pancakes, good company and you’ve got a great morning out.

Wood Haven Breakfast House is a true gem. The food is consistently excellent, and everyone I bring here loves it.
They offer unique up-north favorites you don’t find at most local breakfast spots, like SOS, scrapple, and chipped beef. The hollandaise sauce is amazing, and the cinnamon roll pancakes are a must. Everything is always so good.
The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Highly recommend!
