Stopped by on our road trip to Deadwood and we weren’t dissaponted! Decor was fun an interesting!! Chairs were comfortable office style chairs which made for a neat vibe! I had the fish and chips which was walleye for the win! My wife had the Barrel Burger and she was a fan! Service was also on point! Glad we stopped!!

We appreciate what Mark has done for the community, and that shouldn’t be lost in this review. Unfortunately, our experience tonight was extremely disappointing.
Our appetizers never arrived at the table as expected and were mistakenly prepared as a to-go order. The manager acknowledged there was a POS system error and offered to remake them so they would be warm. I only asked that our main course not arrive immediately after the appetizers so we could actually enjoy them first.
Instead, the original to-go appetizers were brought to our table cold, our entrees arrived shortly after, and the remade appetizers we were promised never came at all.
When I calmly tried to explain the situation to the manager, Laura, the conversation became defensive. Shortly after, another staff member, Cody approached our table and addressed me in a confrontational way on the dining floor in front of other guests, which felt very unprofessional.
The bright spot of the evening was our server, Hannah. She was gracious, kind, and did her best despite the situation. She truly deserves recognition.
Unfortunately, this was meant to be a celebration for my daughter-in-law’s 40th birthday, and the overall experience was a disappointing one.

Stopped in for a late lunch while I was passing through town. This is a really nice place with a good selection & variety in the menu. I was seated immediately and the atmosphere inside was cozy and they had a nice seating area outside. My server Angela was fantastic. She was attentive and knowledgeable without coming on too strong. I had the Hawaiian pizza and it was delicious, sauce, cheese, crust, toppings all great, I’d say about a 7-7.5 on the Barstool scale. Overall a great experience & a nice place to stop for a meal anytime.

Nice environment, furniture well taken care of. Waitress was prompt and helpful. I got the Farmhouse Burger and my friend got the Barrel Burger. They have a nice patio, as well as plenty of room inside and in the parking lot.

The food was so bad. I’m giving the waitress a 5 because she was sweet and attentive. Maybe too much, but it’s okay. It was getting close to closing, so it’s fair and not a big deal. The burger was trash, very gross. It says medium on the menu, but that thing was charred and hard to bite into. Not black and crispy, but another little bit and it would have been. The fries were meh; even the garlic parm didn’t really help. The French onion soup was legitimately gross and not worth the money. Way too sweet. The best part of the night was the atmosphere and the waitress’s attentiveness. I’ll be back if I’m out late, but it’s not my first choice if other options are available.

I really like this place. I don’t live on Sioux Falls, but every time I visit I love coming here (that is about once every 5 years). Their barrel picks for whiskey are awesome. Food has always been great. Good stuff!

Great service and a nice atmosphere. They also have a solid variety of beers.
The portions are a bit small for the price, but the execution was well done.

My wife and I each ordered a burger both had the same sauce with an unseasoned patty, and you couldn’t order it medium rare you could only get medium well it was pretty overcooked for my liking. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger, which I thought would be good, except I couldn’t taste the patty because it was unseasoned. The mushrooms were cooked. Pretty good but they put a sweet barbecue sauce which I thought was weird on a mushroom Swiss burger all I could taste was the sweet barbecue sauce. The problem with the barbecue sauce is it doesn’t taste like barbecue. It’s just sweet. It took us about 40 minutes to get our food from the time we sat down. They seem to be understaffed maybe one or two servers at most it’s sad that the best part of the meal was the appetizer. The fried pickles are awesome. We came with my child and we got him a hamburger literally an unseasoned patty between two buns no toppings or anything. My wife had to drown her burger and ketchup for it to have any flavor and she still didn’t eat it. The atmosphere is great. It’s a really cool restaurant. If you’re gonna go I wouldn’t recommend getting a burger. Try their pizza or maybe their sandwiches it is definitely not worth $71.

Megan Jade gave us fantastic service. Scoville was hot and delicious. I built my own burger with cheese, fried egg, bacon and peanut butter. Delicious. I’m a big fan of the onion rings. The 8$ drinks are my a favorite! I recommend the Gold Rush.
Adjusting from 5 stars to 4 stores because:
I returned a couple days later to purchase 2 bottles of Buffalo Trace for my brothers who lives in Minnesota. He saw my picture of the menu indicating it’s $30 a bottle. The bartender informed me the menu is not accurate. She also told me it was Hand Picked. I paid the $40 a bottle and am delivering it safely to my brother’s I the Twin Cities today
I realize it is expensive to update menus but it’s for to be more cost effective then misleading your customers even if it’s unintentional. Overall an enjoyable experience both times I visited. Bummed it cost me$20 more than expected.
