Me and my mother ate here yesterday for my birthday dinner and the All You Can Eat Bar was sooooo delicious and tasty! The food was hot and fresh! There was variety of what you could pick and eat! We also recommend the dessert and fruit there! Also the All You can Eat Bar was not expensive compared to other restaurants that costs so much more! The waitress was so nice and kind! There is also fast service! Everything was perfect! Me and my family has always loved eating at Shoney’s and we definitely recommend eating here! Thank you all at Shoney’s and making my birthday special! Definitely we will come back to eat!

Came here with the family and we were so disappointed we will never return. We normally go down to the next location, but the experience at this one left us never wanting Shoneys again. I will be staying home and cooking from now on. It took so long to get food on the bar, and only a couple of other families were in the restaurant. I grabbed a biscuit and some jelly and sat, waiting on food to come out, and we barely got anything– so when arguing about the price of the bill (paid for a buffet but we got a biscuit and some eggs that had dish soap in them!) The whole staff seemed unpleasant. The other families in the store asked when hot food will be available, they were ignored– they also asked questions about the food on the bar, and the man tending to it had no idea what the food was, then proceeds to mess up and mix the rice on breakfast buffet with the cheesy potatoes; so he had to take that away also– even more wait on more items. As stated, many complaints were being tossed on the odd taste of the eggs; they tasted so much like dish soap or sanitizer water, and I noticed people picking at their food and waiters taking full plates away asking if things were okay. They weren’t. My family was forgotten about and did not get refills, and after the horrible food and aloof staff, we walked to the check out wanting answers; did not feel like enduring more of a wait for the check to be brought over. We won’t be back to any Shoneys… The price was atrocious, no adjustment to bill, no apologies, and for a few bites of awful food. The family will learn to stay home and eat now.

This is one of the best Shoneys we’ve been too. Food was fresh and flavorful. Server was great and seated us where we preferred. Very good buffet (breakfast)

I am not giving stars just to give stars. Anne gave us the best service that I have had at ANY restaurant in years! Refills, bussed table from dirty dishes, sweet comments and always asking if we were ok. The food was great from the buffet as well. Lots to choose from.
Will definitely be back!

We had such a great experience at Shoney’s this past Saturday night! Our server Craig was absolutely wonderful — attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. We also appreciated Olga and Kevin, who were so kind and welcoming, and a special shoutout to Manager Gerald for running such a smooth and friendly restaurant!
The Country Fried Steak off the menu was the best we’ve ever had — perfectly cooked and full of flavor. On Friday and Saturday nights, the steak on the buffet bar is a must-try — tender, juicy, and delicious!
The restaurant was spotless, the atmosphere warm and inviting, and the value outstanding. We’ll definitely be back soon! #GreatService #DeliciousFood #CleanAndFriendly #Shoneys

Food made fresh and prices are fair. What my kids and I enjoyed the most was our server Ms. Anne! She was so hospitable and kind – she made sure we enjoyed our breakfast and took the time to speak with us , even when she had other tables. We overhead her engaging with them as well and it was really sweet. Loved how warm our experience at this Shoneys was!

I visited Shoney’s in Sevierville,TN for Easter dinner and had a fantastic experience that I’d recommend to anyone looking for classic Southern comfort food and a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere.
I chose the buffet and enjoyed a hearty plate featuring juicy ham, tender chicken breast, flavorful pinto beans, green beans, stuffing, and a warm, golden cornbread muffin. The pinto beans were especially delicious—some of the best I’ve had anywhere! To drink, I had a refreshing Dr. Pepper, which paired perfectly with the meal.
The restaurant’s atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, with a Boston Celtics game playing on the TV, adding to lively yet comfortable vibe. The dining area was clean and spacious, making it a great spot for families or groups.
The only downside was that the restroom could have been cleaner, which kept me from giving a perfect score. Otherwise the experience was great. 87 B

Anne greeted us promptly with a sincere smile and then efficiently led us to our table. Helen was a great server with a genuine sense of humor and did a great job! Our Shoney’s location in Manchester, Tennessee closed many years ago and this is our first visit to a Shoney’s since. This experience was amazing. We will make it a point to come here when back in the Sevierville/Pigeon Forge area.

Has seen better days, don’t know how they keep the doors open, 7.30 on a Wednesday night and my wife and I were the only people in there. Menu seemed to be reduced from a normal Shoneys of our recent memory. The buffet was a disaster, everything was past it’s time and needed to be swapped out. Food was over cooked and had been sitting for way to long.
It may have been our timing hitting at 7.30 on Wednesday night as we did, it was a big let down for us.

The food was very good, and fresh. But what made our visit was our waitress Anne she was absolutely wonderful and sweet. Our son was not feeling well we are headed home to today to Ohio and she did not charge us for him and kept checking in to see if there was anything she can do. The manager I am assuming also came out and asked how everything was. I highly recommend this Shoneys and ask for Anne.
