Aptly named, the Marina View Restaurant overlooks, wait for it … a marina! So that makes for some interesting boat watching while you dine 🙂 My wife and I popped in recently for a mid-week lunch and we were not disappointed.
Our waitress, Chiara, was joyful and attentive and helped us with our choices. I started with the clam chowder, followed by the chicken parm over penne. My wife opted for the mussels and washed it down with a salad. Everything was yummy. My wife said that the mussels were the meatiest she’s ever had. As for me, my chicken parm was the epitome of ‘comfort food.’ And by that, I mean it came covered with cheese and sauce and looked like something out of a Star Trek episode … but it was delicious, and the leftovers came home for a second meal 🙂
One of the other reviews referred to the Marina View as a ‘hidden treasure’, and that’s kinda true as it’s off the beaten path. It’s not on Main St. It’s down by the water and worth the trip. Highly recommended. PS: We may go back for Elvis night!

Just a lovely early dinner with friends. Delicious food. The lobster bisque had plenty of meat in it as well as flavor. A very nice view on a beautiful day.

I visited this place in the past (a hot woman and a cold beer). Naturally it was “fantastic”. Couldn’t tell what my meal consisted of!!!! However, this time I had stuffed class, shrimp scampi and flounder. None of which were very appetizing. All frozen….reheated. Now…..I like the place..food not so much. Service was excellent. Friendly, accommodating, and attentive.

I do not understand the positive reviews at all! I made reservations for 12 noon the day before. Online info has the restaurant open at noon on Sunday for brunch or regular menu.
We arrived at noon and walked into the restaurant finding a man washing the floor who told us they were not open yet. He got a cook who said that the bar tender and wait staff were not there yet. She offered for us to have a seat outside on the terrace. That staff was on the way. Finally a waiter came. No one else was in the restaurant still. Now it’s about 12:15. We got water and a glass of wine. No napking or flatware. I got a cup of soup…not great unfortunately, and friend got the burger. (Interesting that the price for the same burger was $5 more on the brunch menu) I ordered the sliders. They were barely cooked! I couldn’t eat them. Her burger was “tasteless”. Her fries were dripping in oil and very unappetizing!
There was zero checking up on us by wait staff until we were done. Still no flatware!
It was bizarre! I do not recommend!

Literally just bing’d restaurants near me before heading to BJ’s and we went to this gem. Both dishes were well prepared and the desert was also excellent. If you’re in the neighborhood it’s a great catch.

I was celebrating my 49th Birthday and one year of fighting Cancer. Michael was so understanding of my situation and Got a whole room for me and my guess. The staff was attentive pleasant and on their feet. There was little to know wait and if something wasn’t right they help to rectify it and give suggestions. It’s wonderful when you can get great service with good food.
