Some of the best fries I’ve ever had. The chocolate banana shake was delicious. Everything was hot and fresh. This old school hole in the wall burger place is a gem. Can’t wait to come back and try more menu items.

We stopped in for lunch before heading up to the Uintas. It’s adorable inside, like an old time pharmacy/diner. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We ordered the hamburger patty meal with a salad and the ham ranch burger with fries. Both were delicious and you can tell the patties are fresh and cooked to order.
There is a little longer wait for food as they do cook eveuto other but it’s so worth it. We will be back!

We saw a lot of people ordering shakes, we’ll have to try one next time!

What a fun diner! Atmosphere was loud but friendly. The food is delicious, they really have pride in their food here and it shows. It took forever for them to make it but the quality was there so it was worth it. I got a chocolate malt and it was honestly the best I’ve had in Utah. The ambiance is full of antiques and mountain themed. There is even a bunch of candy and random things for sale there. We will be back.

I have been at this fu restaurant since being a child coming to the Mountains and stopping in Kamas. Excellent homemade burgers, sandwiches, salads, fries, onion rings, ice cream , malts and more. Nostalgic fun historic atmosphere. Slow down and enjoy eating back in time. Wings on Wednesday, Bisson Burgers on Friday. Closed Sunday-Tuesday. Thank you Hi-Mountain!!!

We stop here every time we are in Kamas! They have the best burgers, fries, and shakes! I love the home feel this restaurant has. It’s like you’re eating at grandma’s house. There’s a bar you can eat at and two patio areas for seating. They also have convenience store items. But the food. Give everything a try. I don’t know what it is about the Root beer floats in a frosted mug, but it makes it so much better. You won’t be disappointed….with anything! The service is pretty awesome as well! Our waitress was attentive and friendly and the kitchen was spot on with timing! Thanks Hi Mountain for the wonderful hospitality. We’ll be back soon!

Absolutely love coming up to Hi-Mountain and it’s very much so worth the drive out there to get the shakes and burgers. The only complaint I have is that I wish they were open on weekends.

This place is fantastic! A short drive from Park City or the Salt Lake valley. It’s worth the drive. The Gonburger is delicious, as is the Blue Burger. The fries are perfectly cooked. The onion rings are crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked in the inside. Try the sweet corn nuggets. They are creamed sweet corn that is battered and deep fried, and topped with a light dusting of powdered sugar. They are sweet and savory and crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Oh, and don’t miss the fresh lime. It’s the real deal, served in a tall frosty mug with a sugared rim. For dessert their shakes are so tasty. They also have (two) penny candy, which the kids love. We’re hooked on this place and will continue going back again and again!

Hi-Mountain Burgers & Shakes is a cute little gem. Saturday afternoon around 1 o’clock was pretty busy. We waited about 10 minutes in line to order & about 30 mins for our food. It has limited seating so our group of 8 had to sit separately. We tried a cheeseburger, aussie burger, kids chicken fingers, homemade scone, fries & strawberry shake. Food was good. It was a fun adventure driving out to try it. If I was a local, I would eat probably eat here regularly. It was worth the trip.

Took the whole family. Best onion rings in the state if you like them hot and crispy, not soggy. Family loves the fries. Philly burger was the favorite this trip. New favorite was the chicken and waffles milkshake! Must try.

Great food and service! Nice old school mountain town environment. Love the “family-owned” atmosphere. We routinely come up from Salt Lake.
Update 6/29/23. Grady remembered me from previous visits. Extremely personable. Food continues to be great. Will continue to frequent as often as i can get from Salt Lake to Kamas.

This is an awesome place for being a grill inside of a drug store. I was up here for work and stopped by for some lunch. There is an awesome wood grain style bar you can go sit down at and order. Great Cheeseburger and the corn fritters were awesome. I topped it off with an Ironport milkshake.
