I used to love coming to Yorky’s or ordering larger catering orders but I think I learned my lesson on their Greek chicken dinners. The half and 1/4 dark meat chicken just has no flavor. It isn’t marinated in anything and comes with no sauce. The skin is the texture of being broasted, but dry as heck and the chicken meat is kind of stringy. Not grecian style at all. stick to the white meat or steak here. Also their side salads that show olives and feta… don’t come with olives and feta.

We usually have the gyros with extra sauce and it is delicious every time. You get a generous portion of fries which are delicious also.

Huge shout out to the Yorky’s team! The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was so friendly and attentive throughout our visit. My fiancée and I truly enjoyed our lunch and had such a great experience. We don’t live in the area, but whenever we’re nearby we know Yorky’s is a must-stop. Thank you all for the great service and amazing food!

Yorky’s is a great spot with really good food and a welcoming atmosphere. Everything I ordered was fresh and flavorful, and you can tell they take pride in what they serve. The manager was especially nice—friendly, attentive, and made sure I had a great experience. It’s always a plus when good food is matched with excellent service. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending Yorky’s to others.

My family and I live up in Beach Park in Lake County and decided to take a slower route on the way back home from Oakbrook Center Mall being I strive to support local.
Stumbled across this place on Google Maps, saw the high ratings and reviews and wanted to give them a try. So glad we came here and can’t wait to come back.
The famed Chicago/Greek grill has been servin’ up superb eats since 1975 and I’m sure this joint is a local favorite for Elmhurst residents and nearby communities.
Everything was outstanding at still reasonable prices, dining area was super clean and customer service was ultra friendly. I hope for continued success and prosperity for the owner(s).

Great find. Seriously good chicken noodle soup. The portions easily feed two people. We split the pork chop dinner and still had food to go. Gyro dinner is huge! They had three Gyro Spits in the kitchen, and you can tell they go through a lot, as the meat was juicy and flavourful (some places the meat on the spit waiting for an order and can dry out, or if they pre slice it and then grill it. Yorky’s was freshly cut from the spit). For dine in, Yorky’s use real cutlery and large platter-size Melamine plates; it is almost a sit-down restaurant. We went back for dinner later on the week. The NY Strip was on sale for $18, normally $22. It came with salad, rice, potatoes, and garlic bread. I order my steak medium-rare and it came our medium; my husband order medium well and it came out well- order steaks one level below your desired temperature.
