We had a great experience at YROC Coastal Grill. Elli was an amazing waitress—super attentive, friendly, and on top of everything without being overbearing.
I ordered the salmon, and it initially came out a little smaller than expected. Before I even had a chance to say anything (and after I’d already filled up on the pickle fries ), the kitchen proactively made an entirely new salmon for me. That level of customer service really stood out—they truly care about quality and guest satisfaction.
Great food, great service, and a team that goes above and beyond. We’ll definitely be back.

We heard the crab cakes was good. So my Hubby figured Valentines would be a good day to go. We really enjoyed the seafood and the service was attentive. We’ll definitely come here again in the summer.

My wife and I were looking for a great local place to get some good food for lunch. A local seafood merchant suggested YROC. Let me tell you that we were not disappointed! The service was excellent. The scenery was fantastic as well. And the food was everything we expected and more! We ordered the Thaí Chili calamari, she crab soup, & the Oyster Po’ boy with fries. It was a little difficult to find but it is very well worth it if you are looking for a great meal.

We have been coming here for years and the food is always good and everyone is always so nice. We love the view right outside too. We have no complaints. My favorite is the crab cake sandwich and for dessert the chocolate chip cookie and brownie pizookie.

Food was EXCELLENT! Quality was great, and prices were better than we expected them to be for a seafood/ waterside restaurant. Service was a little slow, but it was busy and not too many wait staff, maybe due to schools starting back up. Regardless, the food was fantastic, and the oysters were the freshest (and best) that we’ve had in the past few years. The Huli huli chicken is a MUST TRY! We live almost 5 hours away, but we will definitely be returning on our yearly trip to Gloucester!

Amazing food, Drinks; Baja Crushes are the BEST, and Amazing customer service! Sit on the patio or inside by the window (I am always cold so we sat inside). Our server was Hannah and she provided OUTSTANDING service! Run do not walk!!!!

I had a very disappointing experience at YROC. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was noticeably poor. The manager on duty was particularly unhelpful and dismissive, which set a negative tone for the entire visit.
The food itself didn’t make up for the service either. The crab legs at market price were severely overcooked, making them rubbery and difficult to enjoy. I also ordered the Baja Bowl, which was not prepared correctly — it seemed rushed and thrown together without care.
The manager could care less.

What made the experience worse was the environment. The restaurant was extremely loud, making it hard to have a conversation, and the fly infestation was absolutely unacceptable for any dining establishment. It’s hard to enjoy a meal when you’re constantly swatting away flies. See pictures of the flies.
Unfortunately, I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend YROC to others based on this experience.

Awesome food and atmosphere, slow but acceptable service, very busy on a Saturday. Good Morning Vietnam cocktail was a unique and savory experience! False Idol great as well, they definitely don’t skimp on the alcohol, a strong and very enjoyable drink with rum offset by passion fruit puree, pineapple juice, and margarita mix. Smoked gouda crab dip and mac ‘n’ cheese egg roll apps were both outstanding, love the paprika on the egg rolls, and the accompanying chipotle buttermilk ranch! Signature salad with shrimp very good, and summer salad another winner, especially the tajin on the watermelon! Short rib grilled cheese and Bangin’ shrimp tacos was great as well, especially flavorful huli huli au jus and banging sauces. Creamsicle crush and peanut butter creme brûlée were both great, exactly as advertised, perfect and refreshing.
