Reviews
It was our first time visiting this location, and I was genuinely impressed by the exceptional service from the moment I called—on short notice—to make a reservation for a group of nine to celebrate my birthday. The hostess was incredibly warm, understanding, and accommodating. Even though the reservation was for 7:30 PM, we arrived a bit early and were pleasantly surprised to find our table ready.
Every team member we encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. Our server, Giancarlo, was outstanding—welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the evening. He offered great food recommendations, checked in regularly, and even took photos for our group, adding a personal touch to our celebration.
The food was absolutely phenomenal—from the grilled calamari and the Tagliatelle al Pollo with the house-made red hot sauce to the pizzas (the Sophia pizza is a must-try!). For dessert, I was treated to the Panna Cotta ai Frutti di Bosco, beautifully finished with a mint leaf. It was so delicious that I asked for a little more—and was graciously brought a bowlful!
Overall, we felt like we were treated not just as guests, but as family. This experience was truly memorable, and I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience.
A heartfelt thank you to Giancarlo and the entire team for your warmth, kindness, and outstanding hospitality.
This is a little gem hidden in the hustle and bustle at Yonge-Eglinton. I was very surprised by the decor, the atmosphere and the setting. The place was packed!
Our server Manni was excellent. He was very professional and friendly. The Grilled calamari was exceptional. Our pasta was delicious.
Overall, we took a chance and we were pleased.
Started my birthday month with an experience so amazing, I had to double-check my passport because for a second, I was convinced we’d somehow landed in Italy! ✨
From the first bite to the last sip, everything was chef’s kiss perfection. The food was rich, authentic, and full of that unmistakable Italian soul every dish tasted like it came straight from Nonna’s kitchen (if Nonna had a Michelin star).
And then there’s Alessandro, our five-star server who could easily be mistaken for the mayor of hospitality. His charm, warmth, and impeccable service made us feel like family and had us wondering if we should just move in and never leave.
Between the incredible food, the Italian atmosphere, and Alessandro’s world-class service, it truly felt like we were dining in the heart of Italy, not downtown Toronto. What a perfect, classy, and joy-filled way to kick off my birthday month!
the good work!
