All that comes to mind is DELICIOUS!!! We got the papaya salad, chicken satay, chicken wings, pad thai with shrimp, yellow curry chicken, and bbq beef plate. Not one thing disappointed us. It was all full of flavor and like I said absolutely delicious. Food was fast and fresh and the service was great. Very friendly. I highly recommend this place to everyone and anyone. They will make it any level spicy or not spicy at all if you prefer.

I heard the Pad Kee Mao here was amazing (which it was), but almost skipped going here for parking worries. To my surprise, there’s plenty of free parking right next to the restaurant in the 915 4th St. Parking Lot. There are even five dedicated spots just for the Royal Thai restaurant.

October 2023:
Stopped by for lunch and shared the Bangkok street noodles and the avocado salad.

It’s been probably 12 years since I ate here last. Back then, the restaurant was often very crowded. Today for lunch, there weren’t many people.

The street noodles were very tasty . Had ground chicken and shrimp ! The rice noodles were cooked perfectly in the sauce.

The avocado salad was delicious. Good dressing with lots of ingredients.

Would definitely come back again. I thought the menu had a lot of great options.

The best around town!! I love Thai food and have been in Thailand made me very picky. It took me years to finally find a Thai restaurant that I like. Highly recommended.

Ordered the fried tilapia and I have now encountered my favorite dish!! Perfectly crispy and spicy with soft jasmine rice on the side to accompany each bite. Haven’t been here in years and I’m so glad it has been able to withstand the pandemic and still the BEST Thai restaurant in Marin!! Delicious, 5 stars.

Truly some of the tastiest Thai food I’ve ever had. Every dish is rich with flavor. We ordered the red curry with chicken, Thai basil with tofu, and pad Thai with shrimp. Would easily recommend any of them, but the red curry was definitely the stand out! Highly recommend as my top Thai place in Marin. The staff is also incredibly attentive and friendly

Great food, kind people, the vibe is great inside, the parking situation is a bit odd but nothing too complicated. One of my favorite Thai places

The pad Thai was bad. Too much tomato, and it’s missing something. I dont know what. Quite flavorless. I am so sad. The food was so expensive, I expected it to be good.

Borderline 3 star, but the food is nice enough with good service and pleasant atmosphere.

No real wow factor to the dishes, but most were tasty and enjoyable. The price is a bit steep for what it is, and disappointed by the chicken dish as the chicken itself didn’t seem to be of high quality. Flavors were good, but the chicken meat was not great. To some extent the same for the Mongolian beef. Tasty but the beef was a bit tough, but better than the chicken.

Very authentic Thai food and decor. Lovely staff. Lots to choose from on their menu. Entrance is a bit obscured. It’s to the right of the large “Royal Thai” sign facing 3rd St. Same entrance is also accessible by going through the courtyard through the iron arch “French Quarters” sign on Irwin St.
