Such a great experience. I had came to Starbucks to work on my project for class and was exhausted from a long shift at work. A kind worker named Mayela came up to me and offered me a drink and snack on her. She had it out in no time! The drink and snack were so tasty! Will definitely come back and order the same items again!

I am extremely upset by the lack of service and over all quality of experience. Most of the workers here are friendly. There are 2-3 ladies here who extremely lack and fall behind on service. I know their names… They understand how they present themselves but they simply do not care and it is very noticeable. I can tell if one of them is taking orders because of her tone of voice. I understand, we all have bad days and sometimes life is not easy. We have the choice to make it a great day or not. The rest of the workers are very well trained and on top of that, you can tell they love their job or overall are of good character. God bless all their hearts. In the other hand, drinks are inconsistent but that is always depending on the ones making them. If you put two and two together, you know who is in charge of the drinks that day… Dutch bros on the other hand is a 5 star coffee house. There you will have the most up beat and friendly people you will ever meet here in Rio Grande City. They are amazing, I feel refreshed and feel this sense of joy when I leave. How people treat you really does leave a lasting impression. Sometimes, I crave that Starbucks kind of taste so I come here but it is a different world over there. If they can do it, so can Starbucks workers in Rio. There are 2 other ladies here who serve that kind of service and to them I wish them the world. May God bless them for their kind hearts despise our hardships. I will say, DO NOT come here on Friday nights. All the kids from school come to hang out and they do this kind of drive by kind of show. It is overwhelming and I am sure for the workers as well. Teens rev their engines loudly and drive by fast sometimes. Parking gets full as well. I hope the kids are making memories in the bright side! There needs to be a police or something to check if these kids even have ID. I know most of them appear to be very young. Other than that, I will pray for peace and sound minds for the workers and everyone who sits down to have a cup of coffee. Oh what a world!

Just as I sometimes complain, I also want to mention how wonderfully the staff treat me. And this afternoon, Julie was super attentive. She makes her customers feel at home. You know, maybe it’s the only outing people have all day for their coffee. Let’s try not to make the day bad for the customers or the staff. Thank you, Julie, you make us feel at home.

I have never been much of a coffee drinker ,but my friend invited me to review some notes for school. Fortunately, one of the workers was incredibly helpful when asking me what I wanted to drink. The worker who assisted me was named ,Mayela, was very thorough with her answers for every question I asked. However ,she was not the one who made my drink. The girl who made my drink was apparently her sister ,Gio, she made my frappuccino and it was just the right amount of sweet. It was not too excessive it was perfect. Overall great service they were both so kind and understanding with me.

First of all , my mom is a Starbucks loyal customer, she goes every day , usually by my mom’s coffee order the baristas already know it’s for her. Today I got off and ordered her coffee while they were making it one of the baristas ( Juan) got near the guy that was making her drink and said “oh that’s for her mom and make sure to add extra cinnamon on top because she makes ugly faces” first of all my mom never goes out in a bad mood nor making faces and she has never raised her voice or talked bad/back to any barista. I travel around the states for work and had never had a problem in Starbucks just in this one. Also we spoke to the manger (micheal ) inside the store and I had never heard a manager talk and express himself the way he did today he said “my workers are afraid to attend and make you moms coffee” there shouldn’t be a reason for them to feel scared of my mom when my mom has never disrespected any of the employees. A few days ago a new barista attended her and my mom explained how she likes her coffee and since she’s makes it perfectly everytime. Maybe if you guys would make her coffee right you wouldn’t have to remake it and roll your eyes back at her. Oh and to top it off my mom posts her coffee on a daily and in 2 or 3 occasions have said the one employee’s name due to drawing cute emoji’s on her cup that have done her coffee right and treat her excellent and the manager told my mom to please take down her Starbucks videos that she has on Snapchat??

My experience recently with Starbucks has been a very bad one reason being that I order my coffees customize sometimes and I’ve ordered hot coffee and they’ll end up giving me ice coffees and sometimes I don’t have time to be returning them for them to get fixed. And then the barista’s Are rude about it when you ask them to fix it and I don’t think that’s correct because at the end of the day we pay for the coffee, we order it online a certain way and we still pay for it and for it to not be prepped right how you order it and then the customer returns it and the baristas get upset I don’t believe that is correct because at the end of the day sometimes majority of the time the customer is right. Like today, I ordered an iced coffee customized in my way in a Venti cup, and they gave me half of a Venti cup because the rest of the cup was cold, which I don’t think it’s correct because I ordered with a good amount of creamer and again my coffee was wrong And I ordered it a line with time for them to have repair time but they’re always behind on orders and I’ve seen because the baristas are too busy chatting or doing other things.

I waited over 40 minutes, even though I placed my order ahead of time 30 minutes in advance. When I brought up my order, I was told it was being worked on, but I continued to be ignored. I value other people’s time, but I also expect the same respect in return. Unfortunately, in this situation, my time was not respected.

Over and over we read two salient issues in the reviews:
-bad service
-delayed orders
Everyone is given a link to “comment” to management and what gets done? nothing; so succintly management is also a failure; won’t bore the reader with the same issues but basically the same issues are
