Incredible Food, Beautiful Atmosphere, and the Best Service!

Kaffeology has been absolutely amazing every time we’ve visited. This review is written over a period of several visits, and the experience has been consistently excellent — from the food, to the atmosphere, to the service.

The food is beyond delicious and clearly made with care. Everything we’ve ordered has been fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Some of our favorites include the Chimichurri Steak & Eggs, which was perfectly cooked marinated skirt steak with flavorful chimichurri, golden breakfast potatoes, and sunny eggs cooked just right. The Brunch Smash Burger is next level — two smash patties with gruyere, tomato jam, sriracha aioli, bacon, sunny egg, and arugula… rich, savory, and absolutely addictive.

We also loved the sweeter options — the Fluffy Lemon Pancakes were light, fresh, and packed with flavor, especially with the blueberry cinnamon compote, fresh berries, whipped cream, powdered sugar, sweet cream butter, and real maple syrup. The Crème Brûlée French Toast was honestly one of the best things on the table — the cinnamon toast crunch coating, custard center, torched sugar crust, fresh berries, and whipped cream made it taste like a dessert masterpiece. The Breakfast Burrito was also incredible — loaded with crispy golden potatoes, pico de gallo, scrambled egg, gruyere cheese, avocado, and chipotle aioli with cilantro crema dipping sauce. And the Spicy Kale Caesar was the perfect balance — tuscan kale, shaved parmesan, spicy garlic confit Caesar dressing, and herbed croutons.

But what truly makes Kaffeology special is the service. The waitresses are extremely professional, attentive, and knowledgeable, and they always make the experience feel welcoming and enjoyable. Kelsey has waited on us several times, and she truly stands out — she’s a beautiful girl who lights up the café with every smile. Ari and Claire are also beautiful and amazing servers, always greeting us with constant smiles every time they come to the table.

Kaffeology is a total gem — amazing food, outstanding staff, and an experience that keeps us coming back. Highly recommend!

Food and atmosphere were okay. If you’re coming for brunch, prepare to wait 30-60 minutes. JUST TO SIT!!!! Waited another 45 minutes for food and chicken was cooked with extremely old oil. Chicken was dark brown. Home fries felt like biting into a raw potato with no seasoning. Seasoning was there, but was overwhelmed with the taste of raw potato. I got the rigatoni which was decent but got chicken on it. Was never told it was 7 DOLLARS EXTRA for 4 PIECES! I’m writing this review after having a stomach ache presumably from the old oil they used to fry the dry chicken. I was enthusiastic about trying this place and waited hopefully. Now I am disappointed and never coming back.

Been here many times and never a bad experience. The sandwiches are FANTASTIC, love the sour dough bread, can’t find many places with that good of bread. Great vibes, Lauren is always so kind and welcoming and really makes the experience great. Highly recommend trying this place! Cozy, fun, delicious

LOVE the asthetic. Sweet place to take a break or get some work done while you enjoy a treat. Their apple pie chai was AMAZING. And the breakfast sandwich was so filling! I have to come back to try the crème brûlée French toast

The coffee is outstanding.

The food is simple yet inventive. Excellent for brunch lunch or dinner.

Service is friendly and accommodating.

The atmosphere is small, cramped and uncomfortable. Its trendy and modern so they think sitting on a stump with a pillow is a good experience.

Its very “womanly” in here. Insecure or most straight men would probably never think to go in here. But overall the food and coffee is great.

Atmosphere is good, looks nice and appealing as a modern restaurant. It is crowded and loud, tables are too close to each other. Waiting for the table and food was taking too long. We were there from 11:30am and left 1:30pm. Food presentations is nice but no flavors, chicken in the bun was so burnt, I thought that was something else.
Oil must have been used for a long or too many times, chicken tasted like burnt oil and was hard.
We ate since we were so hungry, but my son didn’t even finish, he ordered fried potatoes for side but he ate literally 2 pieces.
Two stars for friendly server and drinks.

Went there with a friend to study, but ended up grabbing lunch and a martini which was both very good! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We usually go to the Portsmouth and Newport location, but this branch has more options to choose from. Love this place!!

The food and drinks were worth the hour+ wait. I had the red velvet cheesecake latte with the steak and eggs! It was absolutely delicious! The steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and juicy. It came with seasoned potatoes, two sunny side eggs, and greens. Excellent source of protein!
Atmosphere: There was a huge display taking up space that should be used for seating customers. The people ordering food/drinks to-go were standing between people who were seated trying to eat. This needs to be organized. In a place this small, customers shouldn’t be able to make reservations ahead of time. First come, first served, especially when it is as busy as it was at lunch.

Starting with the latte, so many creative combo’s. Chose the brown sugar rosemary and it was delicious. Had avocado toast and added over easy egg and it was so good. Not sure what seasonings were added but it made this avocado toast stand out! Also had lemon pancakes with blueberry compote. Perfect amount of lemon and pancakes were light and fluffy. Food was 10/10. Will be back to try the many other menu options and highly recommend.

One note to owners. Garden City is very child friendly so I was shocked that “family” restroom did not have a changing table. This would be a welcoming addition and honestly should be addressed right away to attract the many families that would enjoy this new restaurant

I had the most lovely waitress! I believe her name was Claire. She was very easy to talk to and made me feel very welcome! We shared a mutual interest of Harry Potter :). The food is also very excellent this is the third time I’ve eaten here and very delicious great portion sizes. I had a Christmas aperol which was delicious! Which I could make it on my own Will be returning back.
