The hamburger at Nations in Daly City was absolutely amazing. The burger was big, juicy, and cooked perfectly. The meat had great flavor, the toppings were fresh, and everything came together perfectly in every bite. You can really tell they use quality ingredients. It was one of the best hamburgers I’ve had in a long time. It hit the spot.
Nicole and the staff were also very nice and professional. They made the experience even better with their friendly attitude and great service. I will definitely be coming back again!

ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE SPOTS!!! I’m such a regular that they know my order by heart. Their food always hits the spot. This place is a go-to, especially on late nights, as they’re open 24 HOURS! Friendly service. Not super fancy inside but it’s cute! There are always fresh flowers on each table which is a nice touch. (Each photo I attached is from a different day, and there are a lot more where that came from).

Wow, first time at Nation’s Westlake location. Had a yummy good experience here. Will come here again! I want to especially credit Sulbha for making my experience to us the dot on the i, so to speak. She is attentive and service oriented to everything I need to complete my dining experience. Nation’s is a small regional chain scattered in some parts of California. As of 2024, Nation’s operates 29 locations across the San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento, and Stockton areas.
I support these folks as they’ve been one of those reliable places for good eats, big enough that you see them here and there, but small enough that I feel they’re neighborhood local enough to support vs, those national brands.
The burger joint, breakfast and pies menu has a good sampling of American fare that it’s a great place for that anytime meal. The hot food is made to order,
I just think these folks do a good job of providing good food at the intersection of good value.
