Love stopping in for a wonderful handcrafted cocktail at Northside. It’s always so comfortable here. Good music being played, good conversations among the patrons, and great interactions with the bartenders. Simon has really created a great space here and I’m always happy to come back to visit!

Been coming in here since I moved to the Northside about a year ago. It quickly has been my go-to spot on this side of town and possibly all of Madison! This place is fun! We’ve been twice on Saturday nights and it’s packed, but we’re usually able to find a seat. Great cocktails and options for mixed drinks. Would love to be able to have a drink on the patio, but I know cities can be real sticklers about who they hand permits out to, so maybe it’s a work in progress. Regardless, we love this spot and would highly recommend it!

The Northside Lounge is easily becoming my favorite northside neighborhood bar. The cocktails are amazing, and for those non drinkers there is a really good list of mocktails. There are no tvs or gaming machines in the lounge so people are forced to socialize which is refreshing. Simon is an amazing owner and is always inviting to his customers. I highly recommend coming here.

This is my favorite Madison bar! Their Cherrywood Smoked Old Fashioned are perfectly made, and they have a great selection of craft beers too. The bartenders are friendly and the atmosphere is super fun and vibey. Plus, they have puptinis for dogs! Highly recommend.

I’ve been here twice in two weeks. Great cocktail bar. Unassuming from the outside, but once you come in, the vibe is so chill and relaxed. It makes me think a little bit of a speak-easy. The decor is both welcoming and charming. The bartender is friendly and happy to cat about his creations. Both the cocktails and mocktails are unique, clever, and tasty. Prices seemed very reasonable for what you get. This could easily become our default bar to hang out at.
