We were greeted right at the door and seated right away. The food and service was pretty good starting out. We ordered their smoothies, but the consistency is a lot more watery than I’m used to. The menu seems to mostly be a la carte, but they do seem to have a few “specialty” items like enchiladas, etc, to choose from. The waiter gave us an English menu, which was very convenient! We were content with the visit until we got the check! Apparently, on the English menu the prices were “outdated,” and we were expected to pay double what I had originally calculated, based on the menu prices. This was a big shock at the end of our dining experience. The language barrier made it difficult to address this concern, but another helpful, bilingual customer was able to translate for the both of us. There was no manager, and no one left in charge to talk to about the pricing, we were told, so after about 10-15 min of explaining our case, the waiter was able to honor the prices that was on the menus we were given. Perhaps they need to sharpie over or white out the “outdated” prices as to eliminate any further confusion for their English only speaking customers. I was told that the menu is only a couple years old – I cannot believe that with inflation, the prices have nearly doubled in Mexico. It’s absolutely ridiculous! Other than the pricing debacle, the food was delicious.

The food is delicious here, authentic taste not like the other spots that try to mimic american mexican food.
Miguel was a great waiter, we came to eat here 3 times during our stay.

I have to say that I went to eat here like two weeks ago and I cannot stop thinking about the licuado de guayaba (Guava smoothie for English speakers, please order it I promise is an experience)
Antojitos mexicanos really taste like how supposed to be, thrust me on this one, I’m Mexican
Agua de guayaba is a must here as well, basically everything with guava!

Great spot to eat at. There are no signs out front just gotta know where to be. Follow the smell of onions. Sat down next to the owner and she helped me out with the translation. Very authentic

This is a must stop every time I come to Cancun. The first place I eat at, and the last place before I leave. Everything they have is delicious! Extremely reasonable both my husband and I ate for $12.00. For a pombazo, 3 gorditas and an Horchata.

Spent $505 pesos, gave $600 but they didn’t give me my $95 back…. Didn’t say anything but still wild they decide what their tip will be. The waiter was the old dude with the grandma glasses. Foods good though but just know you may need to ask for your change

Great experience for me and my family. Every year that we came to Cancun it’s an obligate stop. We love Panbazos, Quesadillas, empanadas and Chiles Rellenos. Guy Fieri ate here and we recommend, also there is a Chapter on Food Network that this wonderful restaurant appears.
