Okay food server, food quality has gone down over the years. Grits looked dirty, and tasteless, French toast was burnt. I ordered well done eggs, instead of yolks were raw and runny.

I am very sad to say, this was the worst experience we’ve ever had at a Cracker Barrel. We are traveling, so I don’t have previous experiences with this specific location to compare with, but we like to stop at Cracker Barrel’s when we do travel.

This was the worst food we’ve ever gotten. The biscuits weren’t cooked all the way, the cornbread had a very odd taste. The pancakes were too dense and not fluffy at all. My mom ordered extra crispy bacon and received floppy bacon. My grandma ordered the Old Time breakfast, it was okay, but not as good as usual. Her gravy arrived cool. I ordered the New York Strip Steak and while it was cooked correctly, it was a very low quality tasting steak with ZERO seasoning.

Lastly, our waiter, Willie. Bless him, he was so kind, but he does not have the mind to be a waiter. We had to repeat every single aspect of our order more than once. He brought me a Coke Zero that was so lightly colored it was obvious it didn’t have hardly any syrup in it. So I switched to Diet Coke. He said Dr. Peoper or Diet Coke? And I said oh no, Diet Coke because I’m a diabetic. Fast forward to refill time…I get a big ole gulp of Dr. Pepper! Ugh.

I hope it was just a bad night, but it was definitely not the amazing experience we have come to expect from a Cracker Barrel.

I’ve been twice in the past 2 weeks . The second time only to see if it got better it, in fact, did not. Hair in the food Three people had to share 2 forks.
Ordered food, I did not get and when I said something about it.On the way out, they recharged me for it.I don’t know what’s going on.I just don’t think I’ll be back . The waitress.Could give a care less. The manager. She was good, but she was not a fixer. She’s very sweet though. Waited on someone to take our drink Order for over fifteen minutes and was going to leave. The manager caught us on the way out and said no.No, no, please come sit down. We’ll get you waited on. That was the very first mistake that I made.I should have left.

TL;DR: A little short-handed at night, but a good location.

Our server Candace did phenomenally even though we showed up an hour before close and they were quite understaffed for the diners that came in around that time.

I had the seasonal special “Cinnamon French Toast”. It’s delicious and tastes like a hybrid of Cinnamon rolls and French toast.

Took a very long time for food to come to the table and watched other customers that were seated after recieve thier food way before us. My husband and son’s food came out way before mine so I had to sit and watch them eat half of their food before I recieved mine. Eggs that were supposed to be over easy came out as scrambled but we decided not to complain and eat them anyways. My son’s country fried steak didn’t have the white gravy as he requested so we had to remind the waitress. She was so quick to leave our table that we had to wait to let her know that my side of coleslaw was also missing and that my son’s mashed potatoes tasted off and he couldn’t eat them. He’s a bigger boy and in no way a picky eater and usually would’ve powered through it but my husband even tried them and said something tasted wrong with them. My son said his country fried steak wasn’t pleasant and he ended up not finishing his meal which is very unlike him. Everyone was almost done eating I finally received my other side only to taste it and have to spit it out because it tasted spoiled. As I ate my chicken I noticed the underside of my chicken breast had large pockets of clumped up uncooked breading. We ended up leaving without finishing our food but I still paid and left a tip. Probably won’t be going back to this Cracker Barrel again which sucks because we normally love it.

Dirty floors, slow service, out of staples such as ranch dressing. Only 10% of tables were occupied so it wasn’t like they were too busy to catch up. Worst run cracker barrel I have ever been to. Management is incompetent. The one bright spot was the free appetizer that came with my fork.

We waited for about an hour for our food. It was Sunday evening, today, December 21st. There were about 5 tables TOTAL, so this was not one of those super-busy, understandable having to wait scenarios — this was lazy, incompetence, and the only job I’m able to get after being fired from everywhere else — type of work ethics. With only 5 tables, as well as other wait staff, we still did not see our waitress in a reasonable amount of times, which meant we did not receive any refills on our drinks at all.

She also took about 15 minutes to bring drinks — with an almost near empty restaurant. The real kicker, knowing that we had a table with young kids, our incompetent waitress brings out the basket of biscuits and cornbread WITH our food, instead of beforehand. I mean, common sense says that if the cook staff is behind, you should bring out the bread so that the diners aren’t starving. What were we going to do with bread once our food already got there? It ended up in a to-go box, which still took her about 10 minutes to get. The only thing I could think of was that she was busy doing everything else instead of actually working. She’s lucky my husband was there, because he’s a generous tipper even when service is awful; if it was me, she would have gotten $2.

The food was fine. Our waitress dismissed my table, she was too busy flirting with the male customers, lucky for us after waiting for 20 minutes another waitress came over and took care of us. I do not like the changes in the atmosphere, too light, hurts the eyes.

This is the absolute worst experience at a restaurant I’ve ever experienced. My husband and our two kids went to eat dinner and left with empty stomachs. We sat down ordered drinks and asked for a minute to look over the menu. Well a minute turned into 25 minutes. Our waiter served everyone except our table. We were walked past multiple times. I will NEVER be back!

This is a very nice location. The food and service (Yvette) were excellent. It’s on a forage road so don’t have to deal with a lot of traffic. There is plenty of parking. I highly recommend visiting this location if in the area.
