They managed to both burn and undercook French toast. The outside was burnt and the inside was raw, it was inedible because the eggs were still raw. They also use the heel or end of the bread for the French toast. That’s the worst slice of bread. They also screwed up an omelette and wanted me to take the food they made wrong. I asked them to make the omelette properly, but they screwed that up again, it was completely brown on the outside. A good omelette should not be crusty and brown. It should be soft and yellow, should have no brown on the outside. I wouldn’t even give this food to a dog. Going out to eat should be a fun and pleasant experience, this was neither. It was an aggravating ordeal.

I am always in the mood for a bagel, but am fearful of new bagel stores, because a lot of them do not offer what I call a bagel. This place does. A real old-time establishment, with seating, bathrooms, and really excellent bagels and coffee. At least a half dozen employees behind the counter, all of whom were very helpful and personable. Separate room with tables & chairs & two bathrooms. Food and coffee were really delicious. Huge free parking area right around the corner. I look forward to returning.

We had Bagel Plaza cater my daughter’s baby naming ceremony today and the food and service was outstanding! We worked with the owners Sam and Yanna and were able to get everything we wanted for a reasonable price. They were also able to provide wait staff to help with setup and cleanup and everything went exactly as planned. All of our guests loved the food and everything tasted delicious and fresh. Definitely recommend!

Really good bagel. Great price. $4.75 for a bagel with cream cheese and tomato. Kosher only so unfortunately no meat. Meat substitutes available.

Best Bagels in Merrick. Friendly staff and quick service. The bagels are always tasty and never miss the mark. My family has been coming here for years. The parking lot can be a pain in the neck but there is ample space just not directly outside. Still worth the visit every time!

Nice service but non traditional mushy and airy bagels like so many others. Bagels should be dense and chewy not soft and mushy… Macaroni salad was okay but chunks of feta ruined it…

This place has been great for years. But I don’t know what happened this morning. $10 for 2 toasted bagel and cream cheese is normal. But this is half of the spread that they used to put on.
