I had an incredible experience at EPIC Steak. This was honestly the best steakhouse I’ve ever been to.
The views from the restaurant are absolutely outstanding. Being right on the waterfront with views of the Bay Bridge makes the entire dining experience feel really special, especially in the evening.
The service was top notch from start to finish. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel elevated without being overwhelming.
And of course, the food was wow. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. You can really tell the quality of the ingredients and care that goes into every dish.
If you’re visiting San Francisco and want an unforgettable steakhouse experience, I highly recommend this place.

Epic Steak yeah !
Absolutely epic in every way. The steak was cooked to perfection—juicy, tender, and full of flavor. Top-quality meat, beautifully seasoned, and served exactly how a great steak should be.
The atmosphere is upscale but relaxed, with an amazing view that makes the whole experience even better. Service was professional, attentive, and genuinely friendly.

I had the pleasure to dine at epic steakhouse, after being recommended by the concierge at the hotel.
Where to start, the location is premium with views looking at the bay bridge. The seat allocated was Epic (no pun intended) and then we had the pleasure of having Glen as our waiter. Where to start, the best I can say is he made us feel like celebrities in his home. He offered up advice on the menu as well as provide options to enhance the experience. We were able to experience numerous flavours on his advice.
Finally Eric attended the table to highlight the little personal touches that set an establishment like epic apart from others.
The whole staff should be commended for their efforts I wish I could provide a more positive review to highlight just how happy we were to have our last meal dining out in The USA (travelling)

Excellent from top to bottom except the Mac and cheese, very strong truffle flavor. Our waiter (Kevin) was very friendly and served amazing. The rest of the food was brilliant. My scotch old fashioned was great as well. Little on the pricey side, great for dates and birthdays in my opinion. Right on the water for a beautiful view of the bay bridge. Overall a great restaurant that you should go try.

He was extremely accommodating and personable, setting the tone for the evening. It turns out Barry has family ties in Mississippi, which made for a wonderful conversation. That kind of genuine connection makes all the difference, and it’s clear that Epic is lucky to have him representing their restaurant.
Now, the food—absolutely outstanding. We ordered the filet and the ribeye, and both were cooked to perfection. The filet was tender, buttery, and flavorful, while the ribeye had that perfect char and rich marbling that makes it melt in your mouth. Every bite reminded us why Epic has such a strong reputation for steak. The sides and accompaniments complemented the meal beautifully, making it an experience worth savoring.

Visited SF to celebrate a 50th Birthday..and it was tough finding a steakhouse with a dog but we got lucky with STK accepting dogs but as soon as we got there I felt we weren’t welcomed with a dog. Without much options we took a gamble and walked out and with no reservations we decided to walk to EPIC and WOW what a difference!!! We’re welcomed with open arms and treated amazingly by all staff and management. We also got the best seats in the house. What a way to end this fun trip and celebration here at EPIC. I will be reaching out to corporate and giving praise to all who made this experience memorable. Long Story short this celebration was going down hill with unexpected cancelations etc and for it to end the way it did thanks to this establishment I will forever be grateful

major props to the staff. the host was prompt with our reservation and our server Ella was very kind, welcoming and attentive. I asked her a question about the mushrooms being cooked with sherry and she was quick with a concise answer. Another server commented on my Jordan 4s. just a simple “I like your 4s” as he passed but I thought that was really cool that he noticed. everyone is celebrating something special when they come here, and the staff still made my birthday feel unique. the crab cakes, the steaks, the sides and the ice cream sundae were beyond great. I had a Porterhouse and my girlfriend had 9oz of The Best Damn Filet. both were delicious. BOH is doing an amazing job.

Overall, we had a decent time there. Right when we got in the hostess was tied up helping other guests who came in after us? Our waiter seemed a bit overwhelmed? He looked a little flustered, and we had to wait quite a while just to place our drink orders, food, etc. Other than that, he did his best to be helpful, but it wasn’t fantastic. We were celebrating our anniversary, which added a special touch to the occasion. Sadly, the service felt a bit cold, slow, and sometimes rushed after long waits. We tried to make the most of it.
The waiters kept bumping into me and pushing my chair, there was plenty of space around, so I’m not sure why it happened 3 or 4 times. And it wasn’t just a little nudge either. Perhaps be aware of your patrons.

EPIC Steak absolutely lived up to its name. We came for dinner and started with their seafood tower, which was nothing short of spectacular. Everything was incredibly fresh – the oysters, prawns, crab, lobster, and tuna were all top quality, beautifully presented, and perfect in flavour. It set the tone for an unforgettable meal. The atmosphere is elegant but relaxed, with great energy and a view that makes the whole evening feel special. The service was excellent as well — attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable without being intrusive.
