Best Wedding Food!
Hao Wah was hands down one of the highlights of our wedding night! Our guests could not stop raving about the food—every dish was a hit and people are still talking about it. We were beyond happy with both the quality and flavor of everything they served. While it could sometimes be a little challenging to get in touch due to how popular they are, it honestly did not matter in the end because the service and food were absolutely amazing. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and it was 100% worth every penny. Definitely get their Platinum package—it is so worth it! Do not overlook Hao Wah—if you love Asian food, this is the caterer you want at your wedding! And when you do get ahold of Ben, he’s super nice and great to talk to!

Prepared and delivered with love & care! Can’t wait to eat in the actual restaurant. Huge portions, hot & fresh. The wonton soup came with fresh fried wonton strips as did the egg drop soup. We got the combination dinners. I got garlic chicken & fried rice. My sister got sesame chicken and fried rice. The vegetables were fresh & crispy. Chicken pieces were huge. Packaged so well not a drop of soup escaped. First Chinese restaurant we’ve tried since moving to Florida. Will now be a favorite local spot! I hadn’t felt well all week and that wonton soup felt like a warm hug. So very comfy. Just a excellent experience all around.

I don’t normally leave reviews because I am in the restaurant business, but something needs to be said to these guys. My wife grew up on the Hao Wah in South Tampa so, while she was sick, she was craving some wonton soup. I drove all the way to this location from South Tampa to get her soup and honey chicken.
Let me say, where is the Chinese Gordon Ramsey when you need him?! This is some of the most upsetting Chinese food I’ve ever had. Not only that, but I also ordered beef w/ broccoli and fried rice, but I received, instead, whatever this is pictured below. I called for a refund and Ben told me a refund is “just too hard for him to do,” so how about store credit? If I said that to any of my customers I would be driven out of town! So I have store credit for food that I will NEVER order again. Anyone want it?
Soggy honey chicken. Wrong food, bland rice. Please someone help these folks.

You know how you feel after stuffing your face with off-the-chain Chinese food and you can hardly move. After eating here, because the food is so ridiculously delicious and oversized, you will feel like a Sumo wrestler, “Hao Wah”! When you walk in, you will feel like you’re in a fancy restaurant in China. Definitely not a hole in the wall. They even have a backdrop for you to take your picture. Cheese! Make sure to put on your stretchy clothes before eating here. You will be thankful. Enjoy!

Absolutely amazing. I’m from New York and find it hard to find good Chinese here in Florida. The meal was absolutely delicious. I ordered the beef and broccoli with some egg rolls. Everything tasted amazing. The portion was huge enough that I was able to save 1/2 for later and was stuffed. Delivery was fast and the person on the phone was very nice. Wanted to write a great review so maybe someone else who is looking for great food may see this and pick them over the mediocre stuff. Hope you enjoy your meal as much as I enjoyed mine!

We had a mixed American Vietnamese wedding last weekend, and we picked Hao Wah for our catering. Everyone in our family absolutely loved the food. My husband’s family, who are American, said they have never had good wedding food like that before. Their employees are also wonderful, everyone was so nice and helpful. Highly recommended for wedding catering.

First time ordering takeout from this place. It was painless. I placed an order of house special fried rice, chicken wings and two orders of shrimp lo mein. Everything came earlier. It was fresh, hot and delicious. My family and I were pleasantly surprised. The only thing that disappointed my husband was there wasn’t any wasabi like they promised. Other than that I would definitely recommend this place a thousand times over. We are picky eaters, especially me since I’m a New Yorker. So finding a decent place has been an ordeal. I honestly loved the food and they made it a specialty order since I cannot eat peas and carrots. They have got a customer for life.

I decided to give them a try, and ordered for delivery through Door Dash, so I was not able to add preferences to my order. The General Tso Chicken dish had a nice texture, but it was not spicy and tasted like regular orange chicken to me. The Hot and Sour soup had way too much vinegar for my liking, I didn’t eat it. The Wonton Soup and the Crab Rangoons were good. They were not overcooked.

If you are thinking about Hao Wah Catering for your wedding, look no further! Ben was very professional and did an amazing job at our wedding. All our guests had nothing but great things to say about the food. We had sushi, seafood bird nest, roast duck, fried rich, Hao Wah steak, sea bass, crab meat and fish maw soup as well as soft shell crab. He was also able to work with us and provide hors d’oeuvres for our cocktail hour. We are so thankful to Ben and everything he did to make our wedding perfect!!
He does provide services for liquor/drinks but our venue did not allow it. I would highly take advantage of this if you can!!

We normally grab take out here in the evenings if we’re working late, and it always hits right!
Sometimes they close down for in-house events and it’s not really easy to tell; but that’s pretty rare.
The portions are good, food is seldom cold/bad.
