I recently moved to Ellwoodcity from mass, I was hoping to love the food from this place since there are not many options for restaurants in this town. The food was not fresh, for a buffet not many options, the tables felt sticky a lot of dust. I will not be going back. This review is for the owners to view it as a feed back and possibly make this place better.

I would highly recommend going here over Lin Taste of China. Got double the portion for half the price. I mean the food was ok, not anything too crazy. There were many options at the buffet, a very calming atmosphere with Chinese music playing in the background. And the service was outstanding, the lady was super friendly and brought our food out within 10 minutes. If you’re ever in the area, definitely stop by!

Upon entering, we noticed that all tables (but the one we were sat at) were covered with dirty dishes with food piled up on them. There was only one waitress so I’m sure she was trying her best during a busy lunch rush, however not the most sanitary environment. There were also food splatters on the walls in our booth.
The food on the buffet was all pretty cold, hard, and seemed old. They don’t have a very big selection either. The food they did have tasted off to me.

Not one for leaving bad reviews. Especially since this is my hometown. Extremely unimpressed. Walked in, no one at register. Wanted to get take out. Eventually grabbed my own containers while the one worker they had went in back and probably heated up food in microwave. Went up to Buffett, unimpressed is an understatement. There was nothing, literally. A little bit of lo me in and brought out fresh general tsos while I was waiting. Um, one egg roll? Kind of felt like everyone inside wanted them to restock the buffet. Do better next time?? Sad for people in Ellwood really.

Made to order food here is some of the best Chinese I’ve had. It’s not a different menu than any other Americanized Chinese restaurant, but it’s cooked better. I even prefer it to a lot of authentic Chinese dishes I’ve tried in Chinatown.

Lovely atmosphere. Great service!! Not an extensive variety as some buffets, but what was there was very tasty. Great teas – hot Chinese and iced tea. Very reasonably priced!! We had a lovely evening eating here.

If there’s one thing I’ve noticed about the reviews for this restaurant is that many comments lack body, so I will try to cover everything I’ve noticed about this restaurant.
For starters, the food is great if you’re looking for fast-food Chinese food. If you’re looking for authenticity or for high level Chinese food, then this is not your place. But if you’re hungry and want good quality fast food that isn’t burgers or something, Then this is a great choice. All the food has excellent flavor (I didn’t have desert though so idk about that, and the imitation crab in butter is weird) and the buffet area is clean. The one thing I will say about the buffet is that the labels are either in confusing areas or they don’t have labels for their food. The atmosphere is nice, it’s very quiet and relaxing. The place is run down but I would like for people to keep in mind that this place has been here a very long time and they are gratefully understaffed. They also don’t seem to bring in enough customers for a renovation. The place is still clean, just a little outdated. They literally have one lady running the dining room area and it seems like very few kitchen staff. The lady is very very nice and does a great job. Please have sympathy and compassion towards this restaurant. It’s not going to be 100% because they don’t have the money or staff to be 100%. ALSO it’s about 12$ a person as of right now, so you have an idea of price. Anyways, I really enjoyed eating here and definitely would again!
