The food is fine, but recently tried a place called sonoroa and their Mexican food is on another level. They didn’t mess up my order either. Again, that’s SONORA. In Provo. Way better than these amateurs.
My pickup order was supposed to be ready at 9:00 PM and wasn’t given to me until 9:20 PM. While waiting, employees were yelling profanity at each other, laughing, and clearly not working on my order, even though the restaurant was almost empty.
When I got home, several items were missing. I ordered a large salad and received a small one that smelled bad, and the burrito barely had any meat.
My wife went back to fix the order and was yelled at by an employee, told the register was closed, there was no food left, and that she had to leave because they were closing — 20 minutes before their posted closing time.
Dirty place, rude staff, terrible service, awful food. This completely ruined a family dinner.
Never coming back.
First of all the new menu changes are HORRIBLE! Fewer options and less food with those options. Portions are smaller and there are fewer add ons. You used to get guacamole and sour cream along with a side salad or rice and beans with the quesadilla. Now you don’t unless you pay for it. They’ve gone the way of Costa Vida. The food you do get is way more expensive. We used to pay between $20-$30 when my husband and I ate there. Now it’s between $40-$50 for less food.
To add to all of that frustration, the last few curbside pickup orders we’ve made haven’t been accurate. Items are missing. Sides we paid a lot for haven’t been added. I hate rice and they keep including it even though I always specify no rice. Thr wrong beans are added. They forget the cheese. Stuff like that. They are prompt to give us a refund or points on the app, but I’m getting awfully tired of paying more money for orders that are consistently messed up.
This location used to be great. It’s so sad they’ve deteriorated. Unless they bring back the old menu or significantly improve their service, I don’t think we’ll be returning. It’s not worth it anymore.
I went inside to take advantage of the 2 for $20 deal. On the Facebook ad it said you can use the coupon below. When I went to check out. They told me I had to get the app
I tried doing the app, it wasn’t working. I tried doing it online. It was making me order everything, but I already had my food. The cashier ignored me completely. I asked her for the manager again twice. The cashier only said she’s here and didn’t go get the manager. The manager had walked by again at one point on the phone. She never came back to check or help me. So I left, the food sitting on the tray. It shouldn’t be that hard to use a deal going on and it was frustrating that I was completely ignored when I was asking for help. Do better!
