We frequent this establishment almost monthly and would normally give a better rating. This evening my mom visiting from out of town treated us to dinner and since we generally have decent food here we chose this over the other restaurants in Dandridge. She ordered the chicken and broccoli with penne in a Parmesan cream sauce. After waiting at least twenty minutes for food…maybe more, the plate was presented to her at the table. Upon stirring the dish, there appeared to be no sauce and was very dry. We asked for some more and a 3 ounce container was brought to pour on it which made it much more palatable. I was surprised that the bill reflected a 1.99 additional charge for the requested sauce. When questioning it, the server said I would have to speak to a manager which we waited for awhile as well but they were very busy. His explanation was that since they were “slammed in the kitchen,” it probably sat under the heat lamp too long and dried it out. Even after admitting this, they still would not remove the charge. The issue isn’t the 1.99 but the principle that if it was the fault of kitchen crew why was the customer then charged to make it as described on the menu “with a cream sauce.”. All of our meals with the party of five arriving at 5:00, seemed as if they had been microwaved before bringing to the table as the battered fried fish was not crisp, the fries limp, and the baked potato shriveled up. I appreciate the effort put forth by those in the restaurant business, but we will rethink our next evening out. Perkins always makes things right!

Always a nice environment. The staff do an amazing job. We had a new waitress tonight named Callie. She did an exceptional job waiting on us. I highly recommend for an overall good experience regularly.

After an unexpected medical situation on Christmas Day we were scrambling to find somewhere to get food for the family dinner. Almost everywhere was closed and the few that were open weren’t doing to go orders. My wife found that this restaurant was willing to do it so we placed a rather large order. Even thought it was a 30 minute drive (one way) we were happy they took our order. When we arrived the place was PACKED! But the waitress (wish I had got her name) that was waiting on us was super polite and helpful even though she was swamped with her tables and orders. She really let the Christmas spirit shine thru her work and help. The food was excellent and much more food than we even expected! Please go by and support this business!

Very disappointing, none of the food look like the pictures. The portions were way smaller as depicted. My wife salmon bowl was missing all the other veggies listed in the menu. She only got lettuce. My sandwich had only one pice of chicken when the picture from the menu has two. Both ends of my sandwich was only bread and the chicken was very salty. Not a great experience.
