My coworker and I went there for the first time Saturday night. Our server was Caitlynn and she was fantastic, super helpful and friendly with great recommendations. We couldn’t decide what we wanted because the menu is huge and we asked her for a few of her favorite things. One of them being the brisket nachos. I decided to go with that and my coworker got the brisket tacos. Caitlynn was right on the money because these nachos checked all the boxes. Homemade tortilla chips, beans, lots of cheese, and some of the most tender brisket I’ve ever had. It came with salsa and sour cream. I also took her recommendation and tried using ranch as a dip. It sounds crazy, but it was so good. My coworker loved her brisket tacos and she said it was super tender brisket, not very lean, but not super fatty either. She brought barbecue sauce on the side in case we wanted to try. Both of which were great. One was the sweet and spicy the other was their original. We didn’t really use it to eat for dinner, but I can see this going great on their other barbecued items. And I would definitely use them if I got something else on the menu. Caitlynn did great and made sure our drinks stayed full as well. It’s hard to find good customer service these days. But it’s still alive and well at Risckys!

Superbowl Sunday: I judge a bbq restaurant by its pork ribs – not bbq sauce. Came in today superbowl to give it a try. I ordered the chopped beef which i had twice before and it was good. Not the best, but good for a $7.99 lunch. Decided to try the ribs, and they were TOUGH . No smokey flavor. I use to live walking distance from Heims bbq, and they had me spoiled with TENDER ribs! Idk, honestly I should have sent it back. Im gonna roast it im my roaster for a couple hours. And I dont have to have my ribs a shredded roast consistency as tender as Texas Best where even the bone is squishy.

Look at my picture – you can tell its tough by the teeth marks. I don’t mind a snap to ribs, but this wasnt even cooked enough. Yes – roasting for TWO HOURS.

Didn’t even have time to take pictures of the food because it disappeared way too fast — that’s how good everything was. I did manage to get a picture of the aftermath of the pecan pie, which I got talked into, and I did not regret it. Absolutely incredible.

Not sure where any of the complaints come from, because my entire experience was spot-on. The food was amazing, and the customer service was even better.

Huge thank you to Hadley for taking such great care of me. I’ll definitely be back.

My family and I ate here the day before our anniversary and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our waitress Elaina was very nice to talk to and was very attentive to my family and I. She talked with us and made us feel at home. I am surprised that this place has 4.1 stars because the food we had was very good and service was awesome and the atmosphere is unique. I recommend this place to anyone who loves a restaurant with a great atmosphere and great attitudes , a good place for kids too! Thank you so much for your kindness!

Always a great place to get good food. Chicken fried steak portion was more than enough for dinner and some to take home for a late ,late dinner. Cheese sticks & stuff peppers are great appetizers.

Went in on a Saturday for lunch. There was no wait. The staff was very friendly. I like that the restaurant was big enough to seat a big party. I had the brisket baked potato (not pictured), which was an appetizer, but it was huge! It’s definitely big enough for a meal. Also, the brisket bites were fantastic. I loved the smokey ranch they served them with. We came here for a quick bite on a whim, and it certainly didn’t disappoint.

Cindy was amazing. The food and service was fabulous. Some of the best brisket I’ve had. This is just a photo of what was left. I forgot to take a photo in the beginning. Highly recommend. The atmosphere had nice country music playing in the background. Food arrived quickly. Excellent seating choices.

Waitress complained about new system . She had an attitude. Never got drink refills. First and second round of ribs were fall off the bone good. After that ribs were very tough we had to use a knife to eat them. Waitress stated they were doing good with the ribs but that’s over. We had 7 in our party 2 checks. Waitress was stomping around being even more rude when she saw my tip. I tipped her but not to her liking. For 19.99 ribs I wanted better.

We had Hadley as our server. She was fabulous! Margarita.hit the spot! Beer was cold! Beef Ribs were a beautiful color amd cooked perfectly. Oh! And the ocra…I could make a meal on that alone!

This Texan BBQ Joint is fantastic. Our waiter Javier went the extra mile throughout our whole dining experience. The food was amazing and my picky children were even super satisfied. The isn’t a bad food option on the menu, we will be back!
