In addition to our expansive dining room with a take-out counter, we also have a year-round patio that is covered with retractable walls to keep you warm in the cooler months and cool during the warmer months.

Angelica is great, she’s very friendly, attentive, with exceptional costumer service, she has a great memory I don’t even have to ask for my Cholula hot sauce, She’s always on point, and she’s very personable. We are always happy to come back here food temperature was amazing hands up to the kitchen providing us with a flavorful breakfast. I Just love it here everybody here is amazing Angel always gives us a warm welcome. The management team always keeping in touch and follows up with us whenever we come in showing a genuine interest in us.

Absolutely delicious, healthy, fresh food with excellent service!! They have nice outdoor seating and covered outdoor seating. I loved the variety of options the menu offered. The side dishes to choose from are exquisite. I especially enjoy the garlic spinach and the Brussels sprouts as accompaniments. The children’s menu is also exemplary; it has healthy options to choose from. I love the teriyaki salmon with vegetables for kids; my 7-year-old son devoured it. The service exceeded my expectations; our waiter made sure we lacked nothing, and the atmosphere was perfect for a family.

The food was fantastic, and Shisshir, our server, was very attentive. The Chocolate Peanut Butter Explosion dessert was delicious but very rich — a little extra whipped cream would make it perfect and easier to finish. The new drink, Bubbly Blush, is definitely a go-to!

The menu is eclectic and includes numerous healthy food options, which I love. It’s great to have a spot that serves healthy food to go. The Turkey chili is chunky and tasty. Also, their desserts are delectable!

I used to not like Silver Diner years ago, but the new chef and owners have completely stepped up their game—the food is now so fresh and delicious! The chef clearly puts thought into the menu to cater to a wide range of backgrounds, including super healthy eaters and vegan/vegetarian options. Not only is the food incredible, but the portions are also very generous—I always end up taking some home!
I’ve enjoyed several of their drinks too; the mimosas were great, though the cucumber-strawberry spritz wasn’t my favorite (probably just not my taste). The mango and passion fruit mimosas were excellent, and my mom loved the Bloody Mary with extra olives.
We’ve tried the crabmeat pasta and avocado toast this time—both were fantastic. In the past, we’ve had the crabcake Benedict, wings, cod fish, shrimp and salmon dish, watermelon salad, and a few other dishes—all amazing!
Service from our waiter was okay (not spectacular—we had to wait a bit for extras), but overall, the experience was great. We loved sitting on the outdoor patio with the pretty basket flowers and cute blue tables with wicker chairs. The best part: when it started raining, the manager came out and, using a remote, lowered the glass enclosure so we could stay dry outside. Very impressive!
Overall, a wonderful experience—I’ll definitely be back!

Well I can’t say that this is my second or third visit to SD Alexandria because it’s not so. But I gotta say first and foremost, no matter what day of the week or time of time I come in, the service is always the best. Sometimes I wait a little longer, but oonce attended they always deliver quality service. Such was the case on my last visit on 2/9/26. This time I opted to sit at the bar and was attended by Gisell. From the moment I sat down until I stood up and left she was on point from the water to my cocktail and everything in between. She was friendly, engaging and always anticipated my needs or wants. She made my experience exceptional and enjoyably different. . She truly cares and it shows in everything she does. I will keep coming back, thank you Giselle and the entire Alexandria team, you rock!!

We came for mission and stayed for the service! Tina was extremely welcoming and friendly. It felt like we were there visiting a friend Tina did such a good job taking care of us. We even told the man at the front desk, Daniel. He was also very kind and welcoming.
