Our food arrived in a reasonable time, considering how busy they were. Like many others have said, the portions are huge! Great quality too! They also made sure to keep my coffee topped off, which was much appreciated.
The only issue we had was being seated right next to the front door. During our whole meal we got a cold draft as the door was constantly opened and closed. I’d suggest not sitting there.
What made it even better was how family-friendly the atmosphere was. I brought my two boys and my daughter, and we all felt comfortable and welcomed. The staff was friendly, patient, and attentive, which makes a big difference when you’re dining with kids.
Overall, great food, great service, and a great place to bring the family. We’ll definitely be back
We ordered the chili cheese omelette, home fries, and a biscuit with gravy, and every single bite was fantastic. The flavors were comforting and satisfying, familiar yet different—definitely not Southern diner food, but different in the best possible way. The kind of food that feels homemade, hearty, and made with care.
What truly made our visit unforgettable, though, were Paula and Albert. Their warmth, humor, and genuine kindness made us feel less like customers and more like regulars who’d been coming in for years. They’re the kind of people who make a place special—the heart and soul behind the counter, making sure everyone feels welcome, seen, and taken care of.
Corky’s isn’t just a place to eat—it’s an experience. It’s comfort food, friendly faces, and that small-town diner magic that’s getting harder and harder to find. If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind spot with amazing food and even better people, this is it. Do yourself a favor and stop in—and ask for Paula or Albert. You’ll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.
The pancakes are HUGE. Definitely recommend getting the short stack. The gravy tasted phenomenal, though not as hot as we normally like. The chorizo burrito was large, flavorful, and well priced. The chicken for the chicken and waffles were absolutely delicious. We didn’t get all our food together and by the time the chicken and waffles got there, we were halfway done, but they were well worth the wait. Hand breaded perfection.
