It’s been so many years since I had at Anna’s Taqueria, and I was so glad to know they are in a local neighborhood(woburn). The food quality was very good. I loved the guacamole; it was just the right texture and creamy.
Yarielis and Ever, who served us, were very polite and patiently took our order, explaining each item option for each of our orders that had different ingredients.
The Quesadilla combo with different filling is tasty. it must be tried!
The Vegetarian Mexican bowl with fajitas, jalapeños, corn, and hot salsa is yummm(pic below of the half eaten bowl).

I’ve loved this place for years, which is why this hurts to write — but this new Woburn location completely misses the most basic concept of a burrito.
A burrito is supposed to be rolled closed. Contained. Self-supporting. That’s literally the entire point. What I was handed was an open-ended disaster that immediately fell apart, forcing me to rewrap and manage it mid-meal like some kind of unpaid employee.
For nearly $20, I expect:
a burrito that stays together
portions that justify the price
and not having to perform emergency tortilla surgery at the table
Instead, the portions were weak, the wrap was sloppy, and the whole experience was frustrating from first bite to last. Nothing kills the joy of a favorite spot faster than watching it fumble the fundamentals.
This isn’t about being picky — it’s about execution. If you’re going to charge premium prices, the product needs to function as intended. Right now, it doesn’t.
Do better. Roll the burrito. Close it. That’s the job.

Also, Spanish is not an uncommon language and referring to your customers as “that dog there” is down right insulting

This location has been very hit or miss since opening. Anna’s is my favorite restaurant, and I was excited to have one closer to home, but I feel like the quality and portion sizes are different if you go in store to buy vs pick up or delivery.

It’s great if I go in, but that can be difficult with 3 kids. If I do pick up or delivery, it’s typically smaller portions, and the more gristly/fatty meat used.

This photo was from a pick up order and how it looked when I opened it. In the past, 2 tacos would almost be too much, but I understand times and the economy have changed. It’s just hard when the service isn’t consistent.

Girl working the counter does not speak English nor Spanish. My fiancé and I are both Latinos and she didnt understand us no matter what we said. She was absolutely clueless and kept looking to her coworkers lost in the sauce.

Food was HORRIBLE. I took one bite and nearly threw up. Inedible. Went straight in the trash. Got the mexican bowl with rice, beans, chicken, pico, guacamole and sour cream. The chicken was absolutely repulsive. The rice tastes like its out of a box. No seasoning. Beans very watery. Just horrible.

All tables were dirty, not a single chaie was pushed in or wiped down.

I’d give 0 stars if possible. Do not waste your money on this DUMP.

5/01/2025 update

Went in today and spoke with dm Terry & Gm Gabriel, both very lovely and provided me with a replacement meal. I appreciate the kind gesture! 5 starts for the team and grace.

4.50 tortilla chips and salsa and it’s all crumbs. Awful. Smallest burrito ever. You can get more at qdoba for less than that

I’ve been a loyal Anna’s taqueria customer for 25 years now. Been to every location but this location appears to be dropping the ball on training the employees on burrito assembly. The burritos are consistently rolled poorly, open on both ends, loose, tin foil rolled into the burrito that’s hard to get out without the burrito falling apart. The ingredients are great as they are at every other Anna’s location. But if I wanted my burrito to fall apart and be eaten with a fork and knife I would get a bowl. A burrito is the ultimate self contained meal truly one of its greatest attributes. I really hope management sees this and works on training the employees a bit more on proper burrito rolling. Anyways been to this location 25-30 times now and I will continue to do so and remain hopeful the burritos rolling improves.

Service is good and location is nice. The food could be better… I’ve gotten a few different super burritos here and I mean they’re good, but not as good as the originals, like the Porter Square or Boston locations. Because I know the other locations seem to have fresher food/better quality, I know this location could do better. Because this location is closer to my home I’ll continue to visit despite the slight quality drop.

I’m used to going to the Anna’s in Porter Square, Cambridge, which is by far the best one. This location in Woburn does not compare at all. Portions are a lot smaller and the quality of food such as seasoning is totally different. I also wish people preparing the food would wear a hat or hairnet. If you want to improve, do everything the same as the Anna’s in Port Square.

1st time trying this out and glad we did! We had 3 different tacos and everyone was happy. Food looked and tasted fresh. Cilantro was fresh as I would have expected. Sorry will take pics next time. Definitely will ready here again and would recommend. The driver was nice and rang bell as requested.
