It’s a bar. A local bar. So don’t go in expecting an elevated menu and atmosphere. What was good and what was ok.
Good: The bologna was thick and properly charred. Bread was toasted and plenty of cheese. It was a good sandwich.
Ok: Prices are a little high. $17 for a bologna sandwich and a coke with no sides. That’s not good. The cheese was from plastic wrappers. We all know that’s not really cheese. Music is bar level loud, even during the day. So if you just want to sit and nurse your coke 0 alone. This is the spot. If you want to have a business meeting… unless you’re planning on yelling at your employees then .
Overall it’s a decent place for a kind of quick bite.

To start off, this place is the nicest community restaurant I’ve been to in a long time. They allowed our dog to stay in the patio with us and even brought her a CLEAN stainless steel water bow to drink from. The drinks were amazing and extremely full! The food was perfectly seasoned with plenty big enough portions! 10/10 highly recommended.

09/09/2025 We dropped in for dinner and we’re pleasantly surprised by all of the renovations to the restaurant. The ceiling is now painted black and it looks great. There’s been walls, put up and the tables, and chairs have been moved around. There’s a huge TV on the wall and a university of tennessee scoreboard, mounted for everyone to see. The place has changed a lot and although I liked it before, I think it’s even better now.
Our service was fantastic! Jessica and the staff do a wonderful job, observing their customers. Our food was delicious and our drinks were tasty.
08/19/2025 Tuesday night is a fun night at the local eatery. The food is “buy one meal, get one free.” That draws in the local crowd. There is no music on Tuesdays, but if you come back later in the week, you’ll be able to enjoy some very good entertainment. The staff are wonderful, especially Virginia, Jessica and Matthew, among others that do a fantastic job of serving the patrons. Right now, the restaurant is been remodeled little by little. With each phase, it continues to look better and better. The food is delicious! I do miss the Trout Almondine and the daily choices of homemade soup, but other than that I like the choices available on the menu. For a local restaurant, it’s wonderful to have it so close to home.
06/18/2025 we had lunch at the local today, late in the afternoon. Virginia, our waitress, it gave us excellent service. She told us about how the restaurant was going to have some modifications soon and that the music would begin again later this year. We suggested adding in bingo and trivia nights, to draw it in the local crowd. I had the shrimp with sweet potato fries and green beans. The food was exceptionally good. My boyfriend had the blue cheese burger and fries. And those were both excellent.
We know the restaurant is going through some growing paint, but please give it a try. You will be back.
05/06/2025 Have a hankering for salmon? The Local has some delicious salmon with a great glaze. The rice is delicious, too.
04/27/2025 we had a very good meal at the restaurant today. The new menu is good, but I sure do miss the Trout Almandine. Our service was fantastic in the food was delicious.
The Local Eatery is offering discounts now. This will help us to be able to go more often. The food is delicious and the surface is very good.

We returned to eat here after a bad experience some time ago and we were so surprised. The place is packed, had a great atmosphere, and delicious food. The owner even came over and checked on us. We had such a great time that we returned with with family and friends to celebrate a birthday tonight. Thanks Zack!

Very surprised by this place (in a good way)! Super friendly service – the cheese curds were very good and tasted exactly like bite sized cheese sticks. Definitely get them as your appetizer. As my main meal, I got the rainbow trout, which would’ve been better if it didn’t have almonds… it was too crunchy to me. The sweet potato fries and Mac n Cheese was excellent. We will definitely be back!

Amazing local restaurant. Fantastic service even for our large group. Great food and large portions. The cracklins’ are so fresh they’re still poppin’ when you put them in your mouth. If you leave hungry… well, I don’t know, that’s hard to imagine. Brisket and wings both had a fantastic smoke ring and flavor. Everyone at the table got different things and everyone loved their food. Give this place a shot.

Family friendly sports bars in my neighborhood are hard to come by. Yes, there are some in Sevierville which come with tourist prices. There are also some remote ones too, but they allow smoking, so no kids are allowed. Yes there are BW3s around, and I’ve been to it. Their food sucks, and it’s very expensive. I happen to find a place called Local Eatery and Grill. It serves what I call upscale bar food. That would be food you don’t normally get at a bar. It doesn’t have all the giant screens TVs I would like, but it’s better than nothing. I’ve been here three times so look at my pictures for food descriptions. Non-touchless bathroom hence a four.
