Great fish and chips right by the sea! This place has 2 parts – one is the takeaway for quicker food. One is the cafe for a sit down. We went to the cafe after a 5 hour walk so it was definitely welcome. Staff were great, seated right away, orders taken quickly. They take your order and take payment up front which I definitely prefer. I had the cod and chips and it was quite big, really tasty. The place was really full, people had to wait for seats.

Wonderful Fish and chips in a wonderful setting! Very tasty. Very well cooked, not greasy or chunky, just right. It is pricey but 1 portion (which is really generous) was enough to feed both me and my daughter. Lovely to look out over the sea when enjoying them. I can see why there is often a queue! I used to have some business in the area but no longer, so will miss my visits there.

The food is absolutely delicious. The fish cooked to order. Lovely light crispy batter, succulent fish and no grease left in the box. Chips were perfectly cooked and a very large portion. We had a large fish between 2 of us and a portion of chips each, neither of us could finish it. Curry sauce is amazing too. The staff are lovely and friendly with a smile on their faces. Definitely recommend this place

Fish and chips were very nice but nothing special for the extortionate price. Other local chippis are just as good for much less.

Incredible fish supper however you pay a premium for the location. Standard chippy inside and the service is reasonably quick even when there’s a long queue.
The fish is fresh and chips are decent. I did find a couple of bones in the fish however it’s cooked so well you can overlook this. I have also been there many times and this is the only time I have found bones. Benefit of the doubt.
Definitely worth stopping by if you are in the north east. Can be enjoyed with a great view of the coast.

Served by a very miserable old lady who through my food together and burnt it, was unable to eat my wrap properly because it wasn’t rolled up like a normal wrap and my chessy chips were burnt and hard.

Great food, service was okay, and the food came reasonably quick, although it could have been a bit hotter. A reasonable kids menu with a drink and sweets included.

We have had fish and chips up and down the country but this is the best so far. We live in Sussex 341 miles away but its the third time we have been. Beware the portions of fish are large. Two regular cod and chips with curry sauce and a tea £33.90. Fantastic and we were stuffed.
