I told my brother that I would take him anywhere he wanted to eat and he picked this spot for his birthday dinner. He really enjoyed it!! He had the elk BBQ burger with the baked beans and he said they were delicious. I got the strawberry pretzel salad milkshake. It was fantastic!! If you like jello pretzel salad, you would love that shake. The dry aged wagyu burger….amazing!! Skylar was our server. Excellent customer service!! She checked on us periodically which I appreciated. I have been to other Burgatory locations and I must say that the McCandless Crossing location is my new favorite!! I will definitely go back!!

To start, the shakes are AWESOME! Thick and tasty, my family got 3 different chocolate shakes, my wife got a cold, brew brownie and it’s awesome! The burgers are big, juicy and tasty . Salads are big delicious with plenty to eat(my mom and daughter each went home with leftovers).

Burgers from the menu were ok. Good chunk of meat, but overall less juicy than expected. Bread buns were pretty dry. Somehow I have better memory about BigMac taste than Meat your Maker signature burger at this place. Oh, and chips or French fries are super fried. Not my choice.

Great location, hostess and waitress very attentive. Love the menu and vibe. Build your own burgers, bison and chicken burgers are on point. Love their fries as an add on or add as a regular side. The shakes look good as the waitstaff deliver them to other tables. My wife likes the GF bun and the bison burger.
For the price of fast food nowadays, this is a great alternative for a similar price but with service and atmosphere. We like going here and have never been disappointed.

Burgatory is a great place to go when you want a great burger and milkshake. The service provided is always really good. There are plenty of staff who are attentive, keep your drink cups full, and quickly address any issues we have. The custom burger options are great, fresh, and tasty. The milkshakes are thick, generous sizes, and hit the spot. If you miss choco tacos, be sure to check out their milkshake version.

Unfortunately they totally missed the mark today. My fiancee and I had custom burger orders. The ingredients on the burgers were totally mixed up– I received some of his and he received some of mine, plus both orders of fries were cold.
We mentioned this to the server and they had someone (I assume the manager) come over to the table and take the burgers back. You can tell that they just switched the ingredients instead of doing something else because I still had bacon, pickle and raw onion (which my other half ordered and I didn’t) on my burger and the plate when he brought the burgers back. My other half still didn’t have red onion and the fries were still cold. They then brought another order of fries which were also lukewarm.
The final straw was when my fiancee bit into his burger and it was pink (he asked for NO PINK) and I bit mine was basically super charred on the outside (I did ask for some pink but the outside was over charred and tasted burnt on the outside).
We decided that we didn’t want to send them back again and we just wanted to leave because they seemed nonchalant about making things right.
We went to pay for the beer and soda we ordered and realized he got charged for the entire meal. When asked about the charged it was played off as “an oversight”. They say it’s fixed but we will just have to wait the few days to see if it comes off the account.
I have had great burgers and service in the past so this was beyond disappointing. This was actually his first visit and he says he will never come back so it’s now off the list of options for us.

First time at Burgatory. I am now a fanboy of this place. First of all our server, Stephenie, is probably the greatest human being in the entire world. Not only was she perfect in her job rumor is she is secretly working on world peace and a cure for cancer. The burgers were amazing and the cost beyond reasonable. Let’s get back to the amazing Stephenie, she recommended the perfect beer to go with my perfect burger. Burgatory needs to understand that without Stephenie they are a burger joint. Seriously, got to Burgartory in McCandless and demand to have Stephenie wait on you.

I reserve the right to review this place again, as I will definitely be back, and I will show pictures, not only of the yummy food, but of the clever menus, wall directions, and unusual spaces. If you are wondering what I am talking about, let me invite you to go there and check this place out. Pay attention to everything you see here, and enjoy all you taste. We went back here several weeks later, so this is updated. The decor of this place is just as great as the food, as you can see by the interior and menu. Please take a minute to actually read the walls and menu…somebody did creative justice to both and it is delightful. Our server was Audrey, who waited on us promptly, with a smile and was very attentive to our needs throughout lunch. My friend had the standard deluxe burger and I custom created a natural ground chicken patty, (which looked like a burger!), topless, with magic mushroom rub, white American cheese, dill pickle chips and sea salt and seasoned fries….YUM….here’s my recommendation. Go to the great cinema right down the street then go here to eat. A great time will be had by all. Check out the pictures

Burger heaven, even if you don’t eat meat, they got you. We subbed in fries for the potato chips (good idea) and I got a Vegan milkshake (soy milk) it was so rich and creamy and good and huge, and filling.
We’ve dined at their other locations but we had not dined here. Consistent quality, great portions, delicious foods and options if you don’t eat meat.
Also liked that you can make reservations but we didn’t need them tonight.
