Today was a crazy busy day at the restaurant and I wanted to make sure every employee was recognized for how AMAZING they were doing! Robert is who was our waiter and about 6 or 7 other tables and he never stopped moving and made sure every one got what they needed. He had a smile on his face the whole time too!

My friend and I went into Dennys after a show at the Capitol Theater. It was fairly late. As soon as we walked in the door. Our waiter was instantly friendly and helpful. He asked if we wanted refills and had perfect timing. Yhe food was delicious as well! We forgot to get his name. But it was around 11 p.m. Thursday Nov 6th, 2025.

We took the family to denny in st. Clairsville got seated took a few minutes for waiter to get our drink order. So we ordered drinks and sat there for almost 20 minutes waiting on our drinks and still haven’t even ordered food at this point 2 kids yelling there hungry. And only 4 tables with people. So we got up and walked out. Such bad service on there part.

I ordered carryout and did not dine in this time. However, upon arrival, my food was hot and ready to go. I had the fried chicken dinner, with corn and hashbrowns. Everything was delicious, however the hashbrowns were so-so.
I also got the sirloin steak dinner, with broccoli and hashbrowns. The steak was cooked with juiciness and flavor.

I stopped in with my youngest late at night because I had a coupon for a free everyday slam for my birthday I didnt get a chance to use and it was going to expire the next day, we were hungry but I was working late due to rent being due in less then a 2 days, I came to Dennys because of the coupon, I would only have to cover a drink and tip which a tip I received would have covered. My coupon stated the choices were pancakes, French toast, biscuits & gravy and either sausage links or bacon. I got French toast and sausage links. Went to leave, gave the coupon code, it wouldnt work, I told her what it was for but was told the waitress didnt ring me up for a slam? But thats exactly what i ordered. The cashier “discounted” it but I still ended up paying almost full price, I literally only came because of the birthday coupon otherwise I wouldnt have because I would of had to take out of my rent “which i had to do” instead of using my tip. To some its not a big deal but for me it is, I would of grabbed something from a gas station instead of being even more short.

I ordered from The Burger Den on the DoorDash website. When the driver arrived, he informed me I just over paid for a Denny’s burger. Apparently Denny’s is out here on DoorDash with 4 virtual stores that have different logos and packaging at higher prices. He stated my order was actually picked up at Denny’s and that the waitress informed him they had these 4 virtual stores and that they just package the food in whatever packaging goes with the virtual store. I paid over $30 dollars for a bland burger of poor quality and soggy bun (nothing ordered on the burger to cause a soggy bun)as well as extra for seasoned fries that had no seasoning. The food they are selling at higher prices is the same cheap food they serve in the store. Seems pretty deceptive and predatory to me. I do not eat at Denny’s, especially this one, due to the poor quality of the food and the lack of seasoning and flavor! Had Denny’s been honest and not out here lying to everyone, I NEVER would have ordered from the fake Burger Den!!!

Sometimes Dennys is touch and go where the food is concerned, but tonight this Denny’s was on point!!! Our server was friendly, service was amazing.

I have breakfast every Friday morning at this Denny’s. Today is the 6th time that only one slice of my toast has had no butter on it. If I order my eggs over easy, the whites are slimy. If I order them over medium, they’re burnt.For the most part, I like the food and it is convenient for me, that’s why I keep going back. The problem is only with one cook, a bigger red haired cook named Chris.
I still pay for my meal. This cook just can’t get things right.
