We came for dinner yesterday without a reservation on Saturday and luckily got seated for a perfect evening.
My mom is in a wheelchair, the hostesses were so welcoming and professional finding us a perfect table with a window. The oceanview at sunset was a great bonus.
Hunter was our server, and he is fantastic! He is so warm and friendly, and always a step ahead with his service.
The food was absolutely stunning. We had the sablefish, steelhead trout, also the fish and chips. Our fish mains were some of the most perfectly cooked I’ve ever had. The fish and chips were elevated and delicius.
The entire team made us feel so welcome throughout the whole dinner. The hospitality and professionalism here is truly above and beyond. I’m so grateful my family got to have this amazing experience for our first time in Victoria, and hope to be back.

Honestly; really great. I haven’t been in years and am glad that I returned. I was a solo diner and had lots of questions but…. Kianna was a fantastic server who offered excellent recommendations. Each better than the last. Super easy to talk to as well. A lot of restaurants on the harbour have all hype and no substance but Finn’s is not the case. They have a beautiful establishment and excellent food and service to match. I can’t recommend enough !

The drinks were delicious. We went back a second time just for the chicken liver parfait — it was absolutely fantastic. Honestly, we might even go back again today just for that.
The service was top notch from start to finish. And the sablefish — wow. Even the host remembered my name from the night before, which made the experience feel that much more personal.
Thank you for such a great experience. We’ll definitely be back.

Last night my partner and I decided to hit Finn’s as we were craving seafood. We started with the Muscles in a white wine garlic sauce that was delicious and for the main course, seafood linguine. Both were great and I’d get them again.
A few weeks back, I was super late in meeting up with a few buddies for dinner. As it was nearing the closing time, I didn’t have any expectations of getting any food as the kitchen had just closed. I decided to ask the manager if there was a chance to get a steak jokingly. That man said, give me one minute. Comes back and says the kitchen will put a steak on for me. They cooked it to perfection, medium rare +. The staff and manager were so nice.
This place has gained loyalty and respect from me.
Great work to all involved at this beautiful restaurant.

Finn’s is a great spot in downtown Victoria, set right by the water with a warm, scenic atmosphere that works perfectly for a date night. The interior feels upscale yet relaxed, and the waterfront location adds a nice touch.
I ordered fresh oysters to start, cold, clean, and served with all the classic accompaniments. For the main, the prawn tacos were flavourful and nicely seasoned. Overall, the food was solid and well prepared.
Service was attentive throughout the evening, with staff checking in just the right amount.
A really nice place for a relaxing dinner with good views and quality seafood. Would definitely return.

Loved the three course dinner. Steamed mussels were flavorful, linguine was really satisfying and crème brûlée was perfect. Great portion size and tasty. Parking is about $3 per hour.

My wife and I were in Victoria for an extended long weekend and while walking around the harbour front area of Victoria we decided to have lunch at Finn‘s Seafood right along Wharf Street.
A great centrally located restaurant with an amazing view of the harbour.
The atmosphere and food was wonderful.
We met a friend from Calgary who happened to be dining in the restaurant that day as well.
And if I would have been paying better attention, I would’ve noticed that NHL Legend Doug Gilmore and his wife walked into the restaurant a few minutes after we arrived. There was a car show in Victoria that weekend and I saw them on the street earlier, but I could not place the face at that time. But it finally popped into my head about an hour after we left that it was “Killer” as he was known during his hockey days.
A great restaurant with great food and a great atmosphere. I would highly recommend this location to anyone dining in Victoria BC

Situated in an 1882 heritage building on Wharf Street, it has fantastic atmosphere inside as well as a great patio overlooking the inner harbor outside.
Had our first dinner here and the Sable was to die for and the double cut pork chop was the best I have ever had anywhere.
We enjoyed this place so much that we came back for lunch on the patio a day later. Service was friendly and helpful.

Best fish and chips I’ve ever had! The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and the chips were fresh and delicious. The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and welcoming.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great spot for both casual dining and special nights out. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it
