Jim Block, a name synonymous with quality burgers in Germany, finally had my attention. After hearing numerous positive reviews, I was eager to experience their take on the classic hamburger.The burger itself. Visually, it’s appealing, a well-stacked patty nestled between soft, inviting buns. The combination I opted for with cheese and jalapeños was great.
The flavor profile was indeed well-balanced. The cheese was gooey and complemented the jalapeños perfectly, providing a satisfying level of heat without being overwhelming. The soft buns were a highlight.However, the patty, unfortunately, fell slightly short. While the flavor was good, the texture was a bit too chewy and, surprisingly, a little dry.
The front-of-house staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. They greeted customers with genuine smiles and were helpful in explaining the menu options

From the outside, this descendant of “Block House” is reminiscent of an American diner, so of course it had a good chance with me. I wasn’t disappointed either, I got a really solid burger and the best coleslaw salad since I’ve been back in Germany. I found the food to be of high quality and the prices were justified.

I never tried this place before so I gave it a shot. I had the Philly Cheesesteak. It was okay. The meat was too chewy for my liking. The fries were good. The ambiance overall was nice. It was a Thursday so it wasn’t crowded. The guy taking orders at the counter was really nice and friendly.

Me and my friends came here while we were staying in Berlin and it has changed us, it’s been 3 months since we came here and I am still seeing the Philly cheesesteak in my dreams. The portion sizes and quality are so decent for the price, probably the best money I spent in Berlin. I ordered 3 sachets of mayonnaise because I’m used to the tiny pitiful amounts of mayonnaise you get in the UK just to be given an actual decent amount in each packet. Staff were very friendly despite me and my friends speaking no German. The food was just delicious and me and my friends have been debating going back to Berlin just to eat at this place again, my only complaint would be I wish they sold larger amounts of water cause I did have to buy multiple of the little glass bottles of water with every meal

Well… If I pay 12 euro for the cheapest menu (small drinks, no ketchup or mayo) I expect a better quality than a Mcdonald. Is it true? Take a look on the picture I made and judge for yourself. For me: salad, tomato, bread were ok; meat? No way. Old, cold, overcooked. The restaurant upstairs have good meat, the fast food no. I prefer Burgermeister.

Food: i ordered, JB Salat, the steak is super, i lovr it. But the salad, i say, its not good taste. German salad is my favorite food here in Germany, something i can eat without any hesitation wherever i go, for i love their dressing as in. But this time the salad here is weak. If you have a bad dressing, expect your salad will not appealing.
The fries, so i love it here, there is something i dont know, it is really tasty, even it is already cold, plus the mayonaise taste different. If you compare it to mcdo, kfc or other fries seller it is totally different. I really love it.

First of all the service was spectacular, we came in there 8 teenagers and the lady who took our order was so patient and sweet (an actual angel), not only that but the food was absolutely incredible and juicy, the burgers were simply amazing and so fulling. 5/5 would totally recommend and come here again
