I thought the food was a really good value, and it was pretty busy at 6:30 on Friday night.
I got the 16 oz ribeye with 2 sides for $22.00 and for the price it was good. It came out quickly and the way I asked for it to be done.
The carrot cake for dessert was my favorite part. It definitely tasted home made and fresh.

I normally hate to do bad reviews, but this review has to do with operational issues and not the taste of the food. Our food tasted good but we did not get refills on our drinks and the beans and mashed potatoes on our plates were not as hot as they should have been. The beans tasted good but the temperature on them seem like the kitchen had not warmed them up.
I know the businesses in our area is hurting for good help and employees are stretched to their limits but I don’t want someone to have a lukewarm meal either. I will be back but they need to fix the operational issues.

We stopped here with a group of 21 from our of state. We had the best service and food I have had in a long time. Karen was an amazing hostess. We were able to get our party in, fed, and out in an hour and a half. I haven’t had catfish that good since I was a kid. If your in the area, check them out. Everyone in our group was extremely happy with their dinners.

Overheard someone in my training class mention this place… if you like good ole home cooking… I went there and sure enough a woman in my class was there so I joined her… I got the special Catfish, turnip greens, hush puppies and a salad. The food was delicious … the wait staff was cheerful and attentive and the decor was on point… great local spot

Very nice little restaurant with home cooking , plate lunches everyday of the week . Can follow on Facebook and see what they have each day . Very polite and friendly waitress and servers . Clean and nice on the inside and out . I got the steak sandwich ,onion rings , sweet tea , very affordable price . Wheelchair accessible. ! Definitely will recommend and return . Truck parking as well

This restaurant used to be in the building next to Kingsway Skateland, what’s considered “Southside” Paducah KY. They serve what you would consider cafeteria style food with a homemade twist. Their menu used to change up daily, but also had a set menu. Now they are located in Symsonia KY, right past the four way stop heading towards Paducah.
I’m not sure if their menu options or set up changed because of Covid-19, the menu seemed to have changed, though most of the items are the same. The quality is just as good, probably because the same people own the restaurant still. But when they were in Paducah you would have a choice of 2-3 meat options, plus some other options, and pick your 3 sides. They didn’t have that this time. It was a very limited choice of just two options, but the sides options were the same.
The food is great if you love the cafeteria style food. As for the portions, they are about the size as you’d put on your plate if you were making it yourself. They are very generous. The waitresses are sweet as can be, as well as the owner.
The atmosphere is like sitting in your own dining room, albeit with a few extra strangers because the place is usually packed. However, most patrons know each other, so I guess I’d suffice it to say, it would be like going out to eat in a rented out home kitchen with all of your friends!!!!

I’ve eaten here for every meal. Everything has been so good. Great people, great prices, and excellent food. The bacon and cheese omelette was delicious and the home fries are cooked to perfection.
