Had lunch at Ye’s Sushi for their all-you-can-eat menu and overall it was a really pleasant experience. We usually stick to veggie and seafood options when we go for sushi, and everything we ordered was fresh, well prepared, and very tasty — exactly what you’d expect from a good sushi restaurant.
The only downside was the pricing. For the cost, it was a bit disappointing that sashimi wasn’t included in the all-you-can-eat lunch, which would have made it feel like much better value.
Still, solid quality sushi and a nice lunch spot if you’re craving fresh rolls and classic favorites.

I have been going to this restaurant for years. I have brought everyone to this restaurant.
They’ve gotten to know me on site. Sometimes I feel like I go too often however I enjoy the food. And the atmosphere.

First time coming alone on December 12/25 after work. I love the every dish in the menu besides pha tai chicken. Its has a smelly odor. Its unexplainable. Try it for yourselves. Thats my opinion for my taste. I love there food , I just need to stop ordering so much food to the point of puking after every dine in. The downside about this restaurant is that they charge you a bit of money too take food home. There customer service is amazing! Next time I’ll bring more friends to share the food in the best Chinese restaurant in Waterloo!

The service is very quick, The fish is cut very thin for the sushi. The rice to fish ratio was a little lacking for me. Most of the noodle dishes tasted okay. The price is reasonable. And I’m certain a couple times they came around and dropped some stuff on our table that we never ordered. We ate it nonetheless

We visited this place for lunch. The service and ambiance is great. It’s an all you can eat place. The items on the menu are quite extensive and nice. It has even some Thai options on the menu. The beef, rib, tempura ,and sushi were all great . I would only say rolls would need a bit of work. Considering the other all you can eat places and the price I would say it’s a good place to try.

A solid two stars for our experience. We came as a group of six girls to have some sushi on a Tuesday night. To begin the service was awfully slow and we often felt like we were waiting a while for specifically sushi. The sides came out first and the sushi came out last. I’m quite a sushi fanatic and this was one of the most disappointing sushi experiences of my life. The sushi felt like rolls that you could get at a local grocery store. There was nothing special about their roles and they weren’t very satisfying. Our favourite thing on the table ended up being the cheese wontons. As for the service, as you can guess, it was awfully slow not only for receiving our food orders but also for table cleanup. As you can see in my photo they left piles of plates on our table and after the table beside us left the workers didn’t even clean up their table. we have understanding that they may have been shortstaffed but as a business this experience should never have happened. This was my second time coming here and it was worse than I remember, we all definitely won’t be coming back.

I dined here alone for their lunch buffet. What an awesome all-you-can-eat buffet with extremely prompt and friendly service. A bit pricier than other places, but they let you take home what you can’t eat in a container without charging extra.
This is certainly some of the fastest and friendliest service I have ever seen at a restaurant. Remember to bow in respect at the waiting staff as this is a Japanese establishment.
You will not find exceptional service and waiting staff like this at many other places.
Extensive sushi menu with other types of dishes as well. However, King Tin Restaurant’s buffet may have an edge when it comes to the quality of food served. King Tin’s buffet is also cheaper, but the service and management are nowhere near as good. King Tin’s management is passive and makes the waitress run around and do all the work. Ye’s Sushi seems more collaborative and very prompt.
Overall, this gets 4.5/5 stars.

Great food, great value but VERY MIXED service.
A tough one for me – love everything but the very varied service. The younger folks are nice, but there are some borderline mean older ladies, especially this short hair blonde Asian lady who shouted and disrespected me for asking about seats.
I get it, older ppl get a pass in Asian culture and stuff. But this is Canada, and you re part of the service industry. Adapt to the environment, or u re gonne get criticized. Just my 2c

Ordered takeout. The food is incredibly mediocre verging on bad. The “pineapple fried rice” came as just boiled rice that looked like it was tossed in some sort of light pink sauce. There were maybe 10 pieces of pineapple, and itty bitty scattered pieces of egg. I thought maybe the looks would be deceiving, but I took a bite and it tasted awful. I ended up having to throw it out. The other food I ordered (chicken & shrimp dishes) didn’t actively taste bad, it was just bland. The best way to describe those dishes would be “edible”, as it definitely wasn’t pleasant, but I can’t say it was bad either. Left me devastated that I spent so much money on this food when a simple grilled cheese sandwich at home would have tasted ten times better.
