Must try it, we loved their food and the service was over the top.
We had a veggie wrap which was great, then i got the french dip sandwich with a side of broccoli and cheese soup that it was really good, then a Carrot cake that had a homemade feeling to it and their strawberry lemonade it was one of the best i have tried.
Update August 2025: everything was great.

My 12″ sandwich was 8″. It was good. I shared it, so it was a small meal.

Food was good. Only issue was that my Broccoli soup was lukewarm. Staff was friendly.
HOWEVER… I also observed a massive slow service when it wasn’t that busy (up until they created a back line) and I felt bad for the black woman who was waiting for her food and I watched several people including myself receive my food before her. I know it’s hard to please everyone and I understand it’s hard to find help but this seems like a leadership problem and lack of proper training by owner and resources.

Your store is poorly ran. I have you 3 stars because I was satisfied with my food but not the experience.

Lexie took my order. She had a smile on her face the whole time. She gave me excellent customer service and told me about the rewards program. The food was also hot and delicious. Will be coming back soon!

Excellent in everything!! We liked it a lot! The only thing that should be more aware of the attitude of the employee Fiana. We had a bad experience because of his rude way of attending. It’s our second visit and I hope to come back. The first time the attention was excellent and I even recommended the place and I took a guest but it looked bad because this time that employee who attended me acted very reluctantly. No courtesy. I hope you can take this into account so that there is no more disappointment

I got a half sandwich and spud. It was ok. I asked for no olives on my spud, luckily I could just pick them off. It’s not a restaurant I’d say let’s go eat at. But it was busy there.

Finally a McAlister’s in Gainesville! They have the best soups and sandwiches hands down. I tried the French Dip for the first time on this visit and loved it. My wife got the McAlister’s Club which is what I usually get. Daughter got the Chicken Salad Sandwich and it was really good too. The Broccoli and Cheddar soup was delicious as always. And you cant forget to grab a Brookie for something sweet. McAlister’s also has the best sweet tea around. As far as the restaurant goes, everything was clean, staff was friendly, and food came out in a timely manner. We look forward to returning to this location!

Coworker ordered a few items for delivery. There was a hair in the Caesar salad (poor girl didn’t eat lunch today) the person whose name the order was under called and was directed to a manager. The gentleman on the phone said “thank you for letting me know, I’ll throw away the rest of the romaine lettuce. What color was the hair?” Coworker told him the color and his response was he didn’t have anyone with that hair color working… The gentleman did not apologize for the hair in the salad, nor the inconvenience, but thanked her again for calling to let them know.
