My new favorite burrito spot!! Very clean small local taco&burrito spot. They have a few table to dine in and drive through for convenient pick up! We got chile rellano burrito and chicken burritos combo. Strawberry churros for dessert! This is the convenient quick tacos&burrito! Very friendly and quick service. The restaurant is more for quick pick-up or quick bite vibe. Strongly recommend the chile rellano burrito and Strawberry churro!!

I have been coming here for probably 20 years mainly just for the breakfast burritos. They have gone way up in cost over $8 now but the tortillas are delicious and you can get them 24/7. I wish they would make more locations I drive clear across town to get them when I have that craving.

Very good tortas, tacos and other dishes. The torta adobada, carnitas torta and carne asada tacos are my favorites. They also have good breakfast burritos.
Service is polite and efficient. It can take a while for your food to come out especially when the drive through is busy which it tends to be at meal times.

Carne Asade Burrito small, half filled burrito, and so greese that it filled the paper like a pool.
The sauces were 3/4 Red sauce, when specifically told only Green.
All together more then 60 minutes to find out that Viva Burrito is no longer Viva Burrito.
It is a place of low expectations and Low quality of food.
It is a place that has let time wear it down and produce a hollow shell of a community favorite.
I will never eat here again. It has crossed the line of trust, and it may take a lifetime to forget.
I wish you could hold up to the standards that you once had, and produce the food I fell in love with when I moved to this area 10 years ago. But this place is not the same, and is not going to get my business any longer.

I used to get a California Burrito at the same place in Hillcrest San Diego for 15 years and Today I found my new favorite place. OMG. This Cali Burrito was actually better than any I have ever had. Could of used a bit more pico but it was amazing!! The lady that took my order was very nice.

The whole place smelled because the toilet was out of order. I should have just walked out then.
The carne asada is three super thin beef strips that are tough as leather. They give you 3 tortillas that are dry and crispy, probably been sitting out all day. The plate has beans and rice too which are nothing specials the whole thing was almost $20 after tax without a tip.
It didn’t taste particularly good and the meat was so tough you couldn’t cut it or get it into the tortilla. I didn’t even eat half the plate.
Don’t waste your time or money here.

I ordered almost 40$ worth of food and it was all garbage. Their quality has gone down to the point I won’t be spending more with them. I ordered on 8/20/23 a Cali burrito, a adobada torta and 2 chicken quesadillas. The first issue happened when I recieved my food as they forgot mu burrito so I turned around and went back. When I got my burrito I opened it almost immediately as the bag they handed me felt cold and it only took me a minute to go back for the forgotten burrito. Upon opening it I realized there was no way I was eating it as it was mostly pico de gallo/tomatoes and had fallen apart. My husband’s torta was so burnt that it was all you could taste and the chicken quesadillas had no chicken and do much cheese that even my cheese loving toddlers didn’t eat but a bite or two due to the nauseating amount of cheese and grease. I would have been better off getting taco bell. On top of that they only offered to remake my food when I can’t get back over there. I will be disputing this with my bank as this is unacceptable.
