From the very moment I walked into the restaurant I was welcomed with a smile! I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful Latin inspired decor, and warm and cozy lighting! The food was mouthwatering and absolutely delicious! I had the skirt steak tacos with a Mojave Agave mocktail! I highly recommend this flavorful trio of perfection!!! The service was on point thanks for Carolina and her attention to detail! She definitely made my first experience at El Jefe both memorable and unforgettable! I really look forward to my next visit and can’t wait to try the desserts! Thanks El Jefe and to the staff for a wonderful evening and dinner!

We stopped here on a whim. New Year’s day, our usual Mexican joint was ckosed. Too bad for them, because now we might have a new favorite. I ordered the steak tacos, Pinche Asada is what it said on the menu. I asked the bartender, who doesn’t speak English to translate Pinche Asada… she didn’t want to say it out loud, then we laughed so hard. Great place. The restroom was super cold, but that’s ok. Everything else was great.

This Restaurant is very good. Love come here with my wife and enjoy the food. Every time we come the food its very good. Their portions are not very big. Amd the food is a little more expensive but its worth it.

What a fantastic experience at El Jefe – Leña y Bar! The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented — every dish looked like a work of art. The atmosphere is vibrant, stylish, and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a night out. We did wait about 25 minutes for our food, but it was well worth it. The cocktails are tasty, though a bit heavy on the ice. Overall, an excellent place with great vibes and incredible flavors. Can’t wait to come back!

Do yourself a favor get the Birria tacos , even their grilled beef tacos are quite good. Great atmosphere and service and price appropriately.

Atmosphere and food were awesome. Service was just okay. Took them awhile to bring us water and get us our food. The atmosphere was awesome! Felt like we were in Latin America. They had a dj, Latin music, and cool lights/decor. The tacos and drinks were delicious! I had the Mexican mule and I liked the flavors a lot-very refreshing. They had a vegan option too which was great. I got the cauliflower tacos and side of black beans with yuca fries. Delicious and very flavorful!

This place is TOP NOTCH! From the moment you walk in the atmosphere and staff have you whisked away on an unbelievable vacation! Our drinks and food were world class! Absolutely delicious and the presentation was beyond words. I’m not one to leave reviews but when one is due….IT’S DUE! I can’t thank the staff enough for providing a wonderful dining experience. This restaurant has one of the best ambience amongst few Mexican restaurants i have been to. DJ, great music you feel like dancing. They could have few TVs showing some sport.
They reminded me of birthday celebrations in Mexico where they bring the cake with sparklers and sing the birthday song. Food was authentic and loved the carajillo, liquor coffee shot. The molé was not to my liking but the entire experience was fun. Would love to come back with my friends.
