Got sat almost immediately, then was seemingly forgotten about just as fast. Also asked for a high chair for when we were sat, but ended up having to grab one myself. Waited a little over 15 minutes without being acknowledged by any servers, but they were able to pass and smile at the child in the high chair. The restaurant was not busy truly, and there were plenty of waitresses and waiters from what I could see as well. Can say we did not stay to eat.

This was my first time going to Outback in Springfield and I am utterly disappointed to say the least. We walked in and there were only 3 other tables. We sat in a booth the table number was 52. The bartender was our waitress. She took our drink order and made no eye contact and seemed uninterested and unpleasant that we were in her section. I’m never a person to complain, but we waited 25 minutes and she never came to take our order. Instead she was behind the bar talking to other servers. I would understand if the restaurant was busy and waiting a little bit until the order, that would have been perfectly fine! But instead that was not the case. We decided to walk out because waiting that long with no one coming is crazy. We went to longhorn steakhouse down the street instead. It was extremely busy and we still had great service over there! I wish I could have left a good review for this outback, but instead here we are.

Hostess Kate was stunningly beautiful greeting us and showing us to our table. Smile that set the tone for our dining experience. From start to finish it was a 5 star evening. Hot tea, steamed vegetables, soup, salad, bread, main entree. Hope you shared in our gratuity. Thank you, Kate.

Haven’t been here for quite some time. We had about a 20 minute wait for a table. Once seated we were greated a short time later. Drinks ordered and delivered, food order placed at that time. Everything arrived within a reasonable amount of time. Food looked good and tasted good. The chicken breast was a bit dry but OK. Overall a positive experience here today.

Good food and service. We joined the wait list online and arrived at our time and were told it would be another 15-20 min. After waiting an additional 15 minutes we asked about our reservation and the process and were finally seated.

We ordered our food to go and everything was perfect. There is always a risk when you order to go and you get home and something is missing. Not this time, everything was correct. The food was delicious, hot and cooked to how we ordered it.

Waitlist system works better at Texas Roadhouse compared to here. Suppose to be on waitlist for 7:00 tonight, arrived 10 minutes early told us it would be 45 minute wait. Why do you need to wait if you get in the waitlist?? I know it’s not the same as getting a reservation but it should bump you up to others that didn’t reserve wait time on the list.

The Outback Steakhouse located in Springfield, Illinois is a very good restaurant. We had a long day and decided to order from this restaurant for delivery. The ordering process was very simple. We were notified every step of the way. The food was fantastic. Everything was just right. The only little complaint that we have is our food was delivered with no napkins or cutlery. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

We’ve been to two outbacks one in Texas and the other in Springfield IL and the service and food were horrible. The steaks are cooked wrong and others had to much fat. I will never eat at an Outback ever again
