The food was delicious. We went on a friday for lunch and it wasn’t very crowded at all. Our service was fast, except our server was on his phone so we had to give him our card. The atmosphere was good, but no music and the seats were cracked.

My family and friends (party of 5) had an excellent time! Food was large portions,our hibachi chef was amazing – especially for my 6 year old! They refilled our drinks continuously without being asked, there are very clearly labeled vegetarian options, restaurant was clean and all staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We had 2 sushi orders which were delicious, the salad dressing was yummy! No complaints! They even offered to go boxes and bags AND CONDIMENT SAUCES without even being asked! Ive NEVER had that service before! The hibachi experience alone was worth it to see an entire table full of laughs and smiles! The world needs more of that!

The restaurant was not busy at all but we stood at the front for about 5 minutes before being greeted despite there being a young girl at the host stand when we came in. She finally asked how many and then proceeded to place a buzzer on the counter with nothing else said. We grabbed the buzzer and stood for about 10 minutes watched over half the staff standing around on their phones. We ended up leaving to go to the other location on Lovell.

This was our first time visiting Wasabi and I’ll say, it won’t be our last! I took my son for his birthday and we all had a fantastic time. The atmosphere is very comfortable, no bright lights and laughter coming from other tables. The chefs at the hibachi ensures everyone is enjoying their time. Ive been to several others and the chefs were never so “involved”. It definitely elevated our experience. He even had my normally shy daughter catching rice in her mouth. The prices are reasonable and the portions are huge. From our to-go containers, you wouldn’t have guessed we ate at all. We all ate more than we usually do because the food was prepared to perfection. Everything was perfect from the med-rare steak to the tender salmon. We also had sushi that was delicious. We dont drink so im not sure of the bar but others had drinks that looked tempting. Our waitress was very tentative and we showed her our appreciation. If I had 1 complaint, it’d be that they close so early on a Saturday night (10pm). Everyone in the area does so it was expected. I highly recommend Wasabi for any occasion. Everything was better than expected and for everything we ordered, the check was surprisingly low. 5 stars EASY!!

Terrible experience for 1st time! We arrived at 1:30 on a Tuesday when the restaurant was virtually empty. There was no hostess and we waited and waited till someone appeared. Then we continued to wait as they went to the back to find someone else. We were eventually seated in the grill area at a table by ourselves as there was only one other table w/customers but it was close to full with a family with 5 small non-school aged children. The chef for our table did not make an appearance until well after 2PM to even start our food preparation. By the time we received our food we got the check and take out boxes at the same time, apparently because the waiter was leaving. We went ahead and paid and tipped well despite just starting our meal. Then we watched the waiter and multiple other staff leave. The lights were turned off and then back on. We never received refills and were made to feel as if we needed to leave even though we had just got our food. I will not go back to this establishment after such rude treatment. The restaurant was also unkept and looked as if it needed to be cleaned. I spoke to manager before we left and even called later after they opened back up about the issues. He never bothered to even call back. I have been nauseous ever since eating there today and disgusted after reading many similar reviews of lack of service and nasty conditions!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME WITH THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!! GO ELSEWHERE WHERE YOU ARE APPRECIATED AS A CUSTOMER!!!!

Service was a little slow due to limited staff availability. However, our server was amazing, and our chef was second to none. He played games with my girls, we were celebrating a birthday, and he went above and beyond. Food was delicious. Portions still large, but be aware that prices have increased slightly…not unexpected with current food prices. A good time was had by all, highly recommend as usual.

Country boy here, folks are kind. The server and the cook were very friendly, but my problem is the hygiene. There needs to be someone who teaches them how to use their cooking utensils properly. A dirty rag fell on the rice, and he kept cleaning his utensils with it. He even turned the fan with it. We felt sick after we ate. So that was disappointing. I hope that can be fixed because other than that, the environment is great and the employees are friendly. It’s just the hygiene that needs improvement.

It’s a show and dinner all together. I went with my husband, 6&8yo daughters, my mom and mother in law when my mom was visiting from out of town.
Our chef was funny and talented. The food was delicious. My kids loved it. They thought it was so fun to watch the chef cook while we were eating and the food was tasty. What’s not to love?
I am not sure why the rating here is so low. The ribeye steak was legit, one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time. I didn’t even order it and was trying my husbands next to me and it was so good I decided I would get it next time we come.
Everything tasted great and we had fun. Great place to eat with the family, even young children!

I highly recommend their food & have always had good service. We took my mom out for her birthday & was handed our tip back by our waitress as we were waiting to leave. She told us the tip wasn’t enough & that she “likes to work for free”. Although we had four separate bills with separate tips.
