If you’re looking for AUTHENTIC food and flavors, look no further! This Food Truck delivers!! They have an expansive menu from Tamales and Tortas to Tacos and Horchatas! I have always had excellent service and top notch service! Some may consider them a little bit “pricey” butttt… you GET what you PAY FOR!! They give you plenty for the $$!! And if you haven’t tried the Birria… you are missing out! Give them a try, I know you’ll be pleased too! Grade A 98.5 Sanitation too! Can’t wait to go back! The La Lupita food truck came to NC Wesleyan for a baseball game, cannot complain. Food was great, Horchata was very good, service was top tier. Food was great for the value. Highly recommend this place, or their food truck!

Very expensive food, as the taste it’s good ,service, and people buy expect to pay double!! Like 2 sopes for 16 dollars!! No way , others prices is 4 or so each ! Ask first for pricing if ordering by phone ! My mistake!!

Super authentic Mexican food: everything from tacos (flour or corn tortillas), beef tongue, beef cheek, soups, flautas, and so much more. Most things are reasonably priced, but watch out on the drinks. We got 4 tacos that were $3 a piece, but got 2 soft drinks from the refrigerator and our total came up just shy of $24 meaning those drinks were nearly $6 a piece.
Ambiance was that of a rural convenience / mini Mexican grocery store with the restaurant merely just a piece of the business. It had plenty of dried spices, peppers, seasonings, etc.
Service was friendly and efficient.

The food was really good, I had chicken tacos, but they charge you a dollar more for each taco if you get flour tortillas, which is fine, except I still got corn tortillas. My boyfriend got the slow cooked pork tacos, which were a little fatty, but he’s says were really good. The red sauce is extremely spicy,but good. I like the green sauce bc I love avocados. We got 3tacos @$3ea and 3@$4ea, 2 drinks(coca-cola and apple soda) and a snack off the shelf and somehow the bill was $40 so our 2 drinks and small snack was $19 and the tacos $21. Just seemed like alot for 2 drinks and a snack. But hard to dispute with the language barrier. Everyone there seemed really nice and happy to take your order. Just not sure the pricing on store items are what they are supposed to be. I eat here pretty regular so I guess it’s not enough to stop me from going bc those chicken tacos are sooo good.

Taqueria La Lupita is great! Some of the most authentic Mexican food around! The family that runs this place is so sweet and also does a great job at catering large events. They also have two food trucks in two different locations in Rocky Mount that are at O’Reilly on Benvenue and the Harley Dealership on Betts at various times throughout the week. If you want some authentic Mexican food in the Rocky Mount area, call La Lupita!

Excellent little spot for good Mexican food. I stopped by on my travel from New jersey to south Carolina. And definitely this was a good Mexican food even if the place seems really small.
