Pretty typical Mexican restaurant ambiance and decor. The restaurant is clean. The service is friendly and adequate. The margarita choices seemed odd (my opinion) I am more just classic me. I settled on the Cadillac 4/5. We ordered guacamole dip 3/5 (bland), chicken fajitas 4/5, and birria tacos 4/5.

Service was ok. Food was not great. Ordered the birria tacos and there was literally no flavor. Same with the shredded beef burrito. Beans and rice we’re average, what you’d expect but the flavorless tacos disappointed.

Went to eat with my wife for a nice romantic dinner like we had here when we first met. The hostess seated us next to a large noisy party I asked to be moved to another section was moved on booth down still across from party and ignored by hostess after objecting again. When food came it was lackluster and bland my wife’s chile reno looked like a japleno pepper the cheese sauce was running like soup the guac was way to salty we barley ate any of our meal and decided to pay and leave when I went to pay cash seeing you get a discount for cash and they had no change in there register when I asked for them to get change so I can tip my server they didn’t have any change in store I ended up leaving and telling them they can tell the server he gets no tip when they said can’t you just tip him the 20 this place was once amazing now since the second location opened in pinetop they seem not to care about this location very disappointed

Well we just moved here and the fear was we would not find anything that we could compare from So. California. But, we were wrong the food is delicious and the way the food is prepared I thought I was in my grandmother’s kitchen. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is very festive. One of many Mexican food restaurants in the area. I really enjoyed the salsa and warm chips. The red sauces (like enchilada) are not gluten free and I forgot to ask for it to be left off of my tacos on my second visit. Also, this same red sauce is used to prepare the rice so if you need to avoid gluten go with “beans only” and make sure the only thing red you eat is the amazing salsa Service was great, food was tasty and I look forward to our next visit.

This was my first time here, the green chili was great along with the carne asada. Very generous portions, and the margaritas were good. Their salsa is a little mild for my liking and I’m not sure if they have hot sauce (I didn’t ask for any). I will definitely be back to try other dishes.
