Delicious food. We did AYCE and portion size was normal! Steak was good and cooked perfectly. California roll was good. Edamame great. Spicy garlic edamame good too.

I went to Ohayo on 2/8/2026 for what was supposed to be a relaxing solo sushi date. Unfortunately, it turned into one of the most unpleasant dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.
My server, Nikki, was pleasant enough, but that’s where the positives end.
Mid-meal, I discovered a long (at least 6 inches), black hair buried in my chicken fried rice. Not on the plate — in the food. The moment I saw it, my appetite was completely gone. I notified Nikki, who apologized and offered to have the dish remade. I declined because, quite frankly, once you find hair in your food, especially one that long, there’s no “redo” that fixes the disgust.
What was even more disappointing was the lack of accountability from management. No manager came over to apologize. No offer to comp the meal. No acknowledgment beyond a quick apology. Nothing. That response (or lack thereof) spoke volumes about the establishment’s standards and overall food quality.
Adding to the concern, I noticed that while servers had their hair properly tied back, kitchen staff did not. One woman in the back had extremely long black hair hanging down her back — completely unsecured. It doesn’t take a leap of imagination to connect the dots.
The atmosphere was also uncomfortable. It was obvious the staff didn’t enjoy working there — or with each other. I witnessed multiple instances of employees passing each other with visible tension and dirty looks, zero pleasantries exchanged. It created a bizarre, uneasy vibe throughout the restaurant.
Between the hair in my food, the lack of management response, questionable kitchen hygiene, and the overall negative energy, this was an experience I won’t be repeating.
I absolutely do not recommend Ohayo.

Great all you can eat place in Prairieville. The quality of the food far exceeded what I expected from an all you can eat restaurant (the egg rolls might be the best I have ever had). Our server was amazing, very attentive and we were never kept waiting. My only complaint is that the booths are a little small for a family, it was a tight squeeze but not something we couldn’t work with. We will definitely be back, and I recommend a visit to anyone that likes Chinese/Japanese cuisine.

Food is delicious and beautiful! Atmosphere wise also beautiful love the teas that make you feel like you are at a sakura festival! Love it more than sushi masa. Now when it comes to service i gave it a 3 and this is why. I have been here four times and we do the all you can eat. Every. Single. Time. The servers are great, but when I order multiple orders of peppered tuna or any tataki they do not send them out, i get maybe two pieces of the 4-6 i order. Towards the middle of the meal it starts taking longer and longer for my food to come, and when it does it isnt the amount I ordered. When i order 6 orders of a certain sashimi app to go with my avocado salad i want those six orders.

We love Ohayo and we love that it’s so close by. The food is always tasty and fresh, and the service has always been excellent. Even when they’re packed they manage to keep up a much faster pace of service than other similar restaurants in the area. Prices are reasonable, food is good, service is good, and there’s an all-you-can-eat option. What’s not to love?

New place and a great concept, you can order the all you can eat buffet which is served to you in smaller portions but nice and fresh! Loved everything I tried. Our server Mo, was pleasant and efficient. Food runners were friendly and prompt with our food. Best service and sushi in town. Highly recommend!

LOVE. Cheap, but doesn’t necessarily taste cheap. All you can eat for that price is tea. Also all you can eat includes way more options than other sushi places. We had some white boy who was slightly alt. He was super sweet.

Will be my new go to spot for AYCE sushi. Way better than the other popular sushi place in the area. We had such a sweet server. Restaurant was very clean. The food was fresh and came out very fast. We will be back. Lots of options on the menu.

The food was delicious! The yummy roll was a little on the drier side, like it needed more sauce. The service was sub par. Our waitress rarely came back unless we called her attention from when she was leaving the booth behind us, and she checked in on that booth pretty frequently so it sucked that my take wasn’t given the same service. Don’t even know her name because she never said it. In comparison to other AYCE sushi restaurants, this place has fewer cooked rolls than others. The rolls I had were still delicious.

This restaurant has both AYCE and menu options. The sushi options are fresh and flavorful. They have a much larger appetizer selection than other similar restaurants so even if you’re not a sushi fan, you’ll be able to get your fill. They have soups, salads, hibachi and more. If you want a very knowledgeable and attentive server, ask for Tanner. He’ll take care of you!
