Small place with big flavor, just order in advanced
I was shocked with how much flavor was in every bite on my platter. Even beans which I normally expect to be bland were absolutely delicious. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try.
Just note that this is not fast food, so placing your order before coming is recommended. Also the only seating is outdoors, so food to go for max comfort.

I recently was told about this hidden gem of a restaurant that’s only 5 minutes away from me, and I’m absolutely in love with it! The owner is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met, and his passion for their business is truly inspiring. I ordered the combo platter with a side of stir-fry broccoli, and island rice, and I was blown away by how delicious each dish was. The flavors and spices were perfectly balanced, and the portions were just right. I also tried the veggie patty and lemonade, and they were both equally amazing. I left feeling so full and happy, and I can’t wait to go back again soon. If you’re looking for a great meal and a great experience, look no further than this amazing restaurant!

Amazing food and an awesome owner. First off, the lemonade is an essential for this place, the owner recommended it and I won’t go back. Hands down best lemonade I’ve ever had. I got the jerk pork combination platter with shrimp and it was phenomenal. Wonderfully spiced and the pork was tender with great smokey flavor. The beef patty’s were golden-brown, flaky, and packed with flavor. I will be coming back very soon for more, this place is a must try if you’re in the area.

This place is outstanding! We’ve had real Jamaican jerk chicken…. from Jamaica. And this is better! I had the Burmuda Bowl with chicken…. delicious. See the before and after pics 🙂
The square container shows the Jerk Chicken Platter which my daughter had. Also delicious! We loved the Lemonade and Hawaiian Punch drinks too! Yum!

I was expecting something good. What I got was the BEST meal of 2021.
I got a beef patty, the wing platter, and ginger beer. The beef patty was flaky and perfectly spiced. The wings were cooked perfectly, the rice was just right, and the cabbage had a good amount of crunch.
The food is cooked fresh so the wait may be 15-20. Doc recommended calling ahead to place your order.
Definitely worth the trip from Dallas and will return!

Excellent take on caribbean dishes! Food was perfectly cooked and seasoned. We had the jerk chicken and pork, my son had the plaine Jane shrimp. I also had the Jamaican beef patty. All tasty. The chef/owner was a cool guy, and really proud of his creations. He seemed genuinely pleased that we enjoyed the food. They also had the authentic caribbean beverages like Vita Malt and Ting.
The only down side is the location of the patio. It faces the west sun, so it was pretty hot. It was a very humid day, so it actually felt like we were in the Caribbean! Of course we went in June, so that’s to be expected. So I’d recommend either take out, or go on a cooler day.
Definitely recommended!

Got to meet Doc, and he explained the menu as it was our first time there. That alone made us feel comfortable.
The food – one word: amazing. Nothing screamed anything less than that, and we ordered a good part of the menu. In succession, we got the chicken and beef patties, the wings with dry rub, the Bermuda bowl with chicken and fried rice, the jerk chicken platter with rice and cabbage stir fry, and the combination platter (chicken and pork) with red beans and collard greens.
One thing: call/order ahead!! It will take about 30-45 minutes to prepare, but it’s so worth it!!

Unbelievable. The staff is so friendly and super helpful to us as first timers.I had a spicy Jerk Pork bowl with broccoli stir fry and beans. Phenomenal. My husband’s chicken and broccoli stir fry bowl looked great too! This place is a gem for sure!

This place is a hidden gem. We stumbled across this place out of curiosity and I am so glad we decided to eat here. The place is small but don’t let that fool you. The food is amazing and cooked fresh to order. I would highly recommend you call ahead to place your order. It gets busy and you might have to wait for your food. We ended up ordering and then running some errands by the time we got back our food was hot and ready and smelled amazing. We were going to drive home but decided to eat in our car because we couldn’t wait. It was that good. The Pork was my favorite with the chicken close second. My wife had the shrimp. We also had the Jamaican patties and plantains. Both a hit with our picky kids. I wish I could give it more starts. I will definitely be coming here more often.
One last thing. We read the negative reviews and before you let that doubt your decision, go and try the food. We didn’t feel the restaurant was unsanitary at all. Doc was super friendly and took his time explaining all his menu to us, even though I could tell he was busy. He takes pride in what he cooks and it shows. Thanks again for the amazing meal!

Wow! The food at Doc’s Street Grill is so good! I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while and it did not disappoint. My co-workers wanted to try something new and we’re so glad that we ordered here. We got a wing platter, 2 Calypso bowls (shrimp + chicken), and beef patties. The food was fresh, flavorful, and hot. You can taste the care and intentionality in every bite!
Be sure to call ahead, patience is key as great food takes time. Oh and do yourself a favor and add some patties to your order!
I’m certainly looking forward to having another meal at Doc’s.
