Our apitizers looked like we purchased them in the frozen food section and microwaved them, then let them cool to near room temperature, and yet they took 20 and 30 minutes to bring to the table.
We ordered ribs, ribeye, and shrimp. They asked how we wanted our stake, I ordered medium. The stake was tiny and came well done. The ribs were cooked reasonably, but the barbecue sauce tasted extremely cheap.
Total was 40$ for this! the food quality is horrible, worse than Runza chicken and onion rings..
I was very disappointed in the quality of the food.
Burgers were beyond greasy. Literally all you can taste.
The fries tasted like they were re-warmed and cold. Didn’t taste fresh at all.
For the price I spent, should’ve used that money towards a different place. Wasted my money
After that, the visit was great! Our server was Jordan and she was WONDERFUL! Friendly and attentive. No complaints whatsoever.
When we went to pay (we used a bogo coupon), the machine took out $3.19 more than what I signed for. I asked for the manager and showed him what it did. He didn’t know why unless it had something to do with the coupon. He asked to keep the receipt to try and figure it out so I let him keep it. I asked if he could just refund the difference and the best he could offer is a free appetizer. That’s fine except we live in a different city. I hope that extra $ went to the server! Lesson: Don’t trust the gratuity calculations at the bottom of the receipt!
To start this with the end, so I don’t lose anyone, our server was respectful and solved the issue we had with the food. He took it upon himself to speak with management before giving me a response (wonderful on him).
My son and I both ordered plates with steaks (6oz ribeye). Mind you, I have grilled some mean I angus in my adulthood – so I have shopped for these types of cuts before. I guess we’re more used to ³/4 slabs of beef. Just look at the photos for size reference. Anywho, we both like our cows to moo before we enjoy it on the plate, aka medium rare. Both of our steaks were about well done and almost ¹/8 of a size thick ribeye
I also ordered grilled shrimp in garlic butter, and he ordered fried shrimp with a half rack of ribs. The timing must have been a miss in the kitchen, as it took almost an hour to get food (steaks over cooked). My shrimp were raw in places. His thankfully were good, and his ribs seemed fine.
This was a bust for going out to eat with my kiddos, one who really LOVES the salad bar (the best part of this place). And my god daughter got the grilled chicken, broccoli on alfredo pasta. Her chicken was partially undercooked in the thickest part.
Overall, it’s only a 3.5 rating because the food was underwhelming, to say the least. But as I mentioned to the server, it is a learning curve to cook steak, shrimp, and chicken all at the same time and be on time. It was a little busy for a Friday evening. But the manager corrected the issue, and we left happy. The food that was edible was good. The rest is just a teachable moment.
DO TRY THE SALAD BAR!! That’s a deal.
Thanks for reading this far.. Just look at the photos for yourself. Sorry, Ruby Tuesday – it was a bummer for the second visit. Hope it gets better. Thank you for having exceptional team members serving and restocking the salad bar.
