I would improve the sushi a bit, personally, the acevichado roll didn’t wow me (although I would give it another try). The service could also be slightly better. Toward the end, we had to call the servers a couple of times to ask for plates and utensils so we could eat. However, it’s something totally fixable.
Overall, a great spot with amazing Peruvian flavors and definitely worth visiting
However, the service we received was disappointing. Our server, Brunella, took our initial order and did not return to the table. From the beginning, her attitude felt indifferent. She did not bring the water we requested for my younger sister, and we never received the dessert menu until we asked another server.
Later, we wanted to order two additional dishes to go as well as a birthday dessert. Because Brunella had not returned, we asked another server, Lucciana, who was very polite and professional, if she could please let Brunella know we needed assistance. We witnessed Lucciana speak to her, and Brunella responded with noticeable irritation and refused to come to the table. At that time, she did not appear to be busy; instead, she spent a significant amount of time conversing with the host and disregarding our table.
When the manager came to the table, I explained the situation, and he mentioned that she was new. I responded that being new and being busy is one thing (and completely understandable, as I have experience working as a server), but refusing service and choosing to socialize rather than attend to guests is an entirely different issue.
It seems the manager ultimately handled our table, which we appreciated, but the experience had already been negatively impacted.
I want to emphasize that the food was outstanding, and we truly enjoyed it. Despite the poor service we received during this visit, we do plan to return because of how much we liked the food. We hope that by then, service standards—especially hospitality and professionalism—will reflect the quality of the kitchen and the establishment overall.
We recommend having the ceviche trio.. it was delicious! We will be coming back again soon!
We ordered two lunch specials and they were absolutely exquisite.
From the very first bite, everything felt thoughtful, fresh, and beautifully prepared. The presentation alone is a joy.
Each special came with ceviche, a type of rice (one with chaufa, the other seafood rice), and a main: one with fried calamari, the other with fried fish. Everything was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and wonderfully crunchy. The flavors were so good we almost teared up tasting the ceviche. Truly outstanding.
We also tried the chicha morada, refreshing and delicious, the perfect complement to the meal.
Service was very good, the prices are excellent, and the dishes are presented with a beautiful sense of aesthetics. This is food made with care, flavor, and pride.
Highly recommended.
