There’s something timeless about pulling up to MoonLight Drive-In and having a car hop bring your food right to your window.

Checkerboard tile. Bright red menu boards. A metal tray clipped to the window of my car. It’s classic drive-in Americana, and they don’t try to modernize it into something it’s not. It just is.

We ordered the Moon Mac —
two allllllll-beef patties, “lunar” sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions, on a sesame seed bun (IYKYK… and yes, I absolutely sang it — you know you did too) — plus fries, chili cheese fries that absolutely required a fork and full commitment, fried mushrooms, coleslaw, and ice-cold drinks — root beer, a chocolate shake AND a malt — big enough to survive a sunny Florida afternoon.

The Moon Mac delivered — messy in the best way, perfectly sauced, soft bun, good char on the patties.

The burgers were hot and flavorful, the fries were crisp, and those chili cheese fries? Comfort food with zero restraint. The fried mushrooms were golden and crunchy, and the coleslaw added that cool, creamy balance.

It’s not fancy. It’s not trendy. It’s nostalgic, satisfying, and exactly what you hope for when you pull into a real-deal drive-in. Fun and friendly staff with excellent service – makes the whole experience even better when the staff seems to also enjoy themselves!

If you’re on the Space Coast and want a true old-school experience — car hop and all — this is a fun stop that feels like it’s been feeding generations for a reason.

We’ll absolutely be back.

Everything was just right: food quality, great service and authentic, nostalgia reflective of its 1964 beginning. My first time back in 60 years, what a treat.
Don’t miss grabbing a T shirt with a great logo!

A real throwback drive-in diner! It was fantastic, the food was spot on like I remembered but even better! The cinnamon sauce for the sweet potato fries is so light, you have to try it. Bacon Cheeseburger and fish sandwich were great, just the right amount of tartar sauce. Come for the nostalgia and stay for the food, including dessert. Old-fashioned ice cream and shakes are the signature pieces here. The service was fast and friendly. 5 stars all the way here.

Just what I was looking for. Ordered the MoonMac subbing the beef patties with the Beyond beef Burger patties and a side of Sweet Potato waffle Fries w/cinnamon butter. Presentation was awesome right amount of Mac Sauce and additional fixins gave me similar flavors as the BigMac but better in everyway. Portion sizes were definitely reasonable and prices were not outrageous. Ate in the dining and atmosphere gave me that 50s diner feel.

We sat inside an empty restaurant and within 10 minutes, the inside filled up.
The waitress was hopping but stayed very pleasant.
We got a chicken tender basket, side of chili cheese fries, and chocolate peanut butter shake.
The food came out super fast.
Chicken tenders were good, liked the shoestring fries…chili on top, not so much.
The chocolate peanutbutter milkshake is one of the best we’ve had.

Seasonal pumpkin pie milkshake was amazing! And the sweet potato fries came with a spicy pumpkin dipping whipped cream. Cool drive in diner concept and really great service.

I’ve been going here my entire life. It’s such a treasure! My grandpa and grandma often brought me . I now visit every when visiting their cemetery. It’s one of my favorite places to reminisce & is a blast to the past just when needed! It’s still as delish as ever.
Burgers are moist & veggies are fresh! I highly recommend the chili fries (they were my grandpas favorite & remain mine as well)
Had a root beer float since they no longer have the swirl in flavors .
They have a wide variety of sandwiches to choose from & the best onion rings. Gluten free buns are offered too.
For you ice lovers — Be sure to jumbo your drink ! It’s the perfect ice!
As for the service it is always so kind & welcoming !
Highly recommend dining in or parking up in a spot to make new memories !

It’s been a while since I stopped in…but I was a little shocked that my price came out to 16$ (after tip) for chili cheese fries, a coke, and a regular burger. Additionally, the chili cheese fry portion is much smaller than it used to be For reference they used to fill the entire container however now they’re placed on a small paper tray inside of the container cutting the portion size nearly in half.

I know that this is a popular spot in the area, but I wasn’t a huge fan. Of course it’s a quick drive in with fast food, but it was a bit mediocre and I found myself feeling acidic after the food. The service was great! If you like food comparable to sonic drive in, this is the place for you then! It’s also pretty cheap.
